Inkspirations Colour Challenge #17

Gidday, to everyone on Australia Day,
This post is for Makeesha's first Inkspiration Colour Challenge for 2010. It is a fun challenge using one  of Stampin Up's unloved colours, Cameo Coral but I think the key is to get a good balance of colour and it works well.  As you can see I have made a feature of Cameo Coral and I like it.
To colour the flower petals I spritzed the petals with water, dried them slightly and then used a paintbrush and re inkers and painted them with pure colour to obtain the depth of colour. I built my flower adding dimensionals to give it some height and placed the ribbon in between the layers for something different and finished with the crystal brad.
Supplies:
Stamps: Whimsical Words, Sanded BG, Butterfly Prints
Card & Paper: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Cameo Coral, So Saffron Stamp Pads and Re Inkers
Embellishments: Crystal Brad and Crystals, Hemp Twine, Pretties Kit
Tools: Paintbrush, Art Palette, Water Spritizing Bottle, Mat Pack & Piercing Tool, Butterfly Punch, Cutter Tool, Needle & Cotton, Dimensionals, Cuttlebug, Curved Rectangles Nestabilities. Mini Glue Dots, Glue
Hope you like it,
Hugs,
Cat's Ink Siggy
