Blue Vase - Delft Tile Technique

Hello Friends,
It's great to be home and finally able to post again.  I am dying to get back into a creative mode, so hopefully I will be back with some more card challenges soon.
For today's post I have had a go at the Delft Tile Technique following a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers by Julie Warner.  I visited a couple of stamping friends in Perth for the day and this is one of the things we tried.  A very big thank you to Andrea and Jan for your hospitality, I had a fun time catching up with you both and swapping ideas.  We changed things a little from the directions to make it easier to sponge the squares.  I have scored the squares at 1 3/8" and used the 1 1/4" Square Punch to create a template out of acetate to sponge the inside of each square.  My finished card is an A5 in size.

Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's Elements of Style, Punch Potpourri, Afterthoughts (Hostess), Papertrey Ink Mat Stack 1
Card: Brilliant Blue (R), Whisper White, Glossy Card, Clear Acetate for Square Template
Ink: Brilliant Blue (R), Bashful Blue
Embellishments: Organdy Ribbon, Silver Pearls
Tools: Fiskars Cutting and Scoring Tool, Ornament Punch, 2 Step Bird Punch, 1 1/4" Square Punch, Sponge Dauber, Brayer, Scissors, Dimensionals
Thank's for taking a look today, let me know if you like it.  Happy Stamping!
Hugs,
Cat's Ink Siggy
