Merry Monday #87 - Fair Isle Mitten

Hi Everyone,
It's time for another Merry Monday Challenge and this week we challenge you to create a card in the shape of a mitten or a card with stamped mittens on it. I went with the shaped mitten and tried to make it look like it was knitted in a Fair Isle pattern with some plain knitting at the opening.  My template is from the Cutting Café. I used an Artline pen to give the stag eyes and a nose. I stamped the reindeer on Watercolour paper instead of layering it to give more definition to the shape.  I finished off with a handmade tag, linen bow, crochet trim, snowflake and a button.

Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink In The Meadow, S/U's Petite Pairs
Card and Papers: Whisper White, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Watercolour Paper Scrap, Kaisercraft Christmas Carol DSP
Ink: Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake
Finishing Touches: Regals Collection Button, Copper Frost Bakers Twine, Natural Linen 1" Ribbon, Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim
Cool Tools: Computer and Printer, Cutting Café Mitten Template, Big Shot, Papertrey Ink In the Meadow Die, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Sizzix Northern Frost Decorative Strip Die, Martha Stewart Screw Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Sponge, Dble Sided Tape, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Sticky Strip
Do pop on over to Lesley's blog and check out the rest of the Design Teams inspiration for this week, and join us and make a card for this week's challenge.
Thanks for visiting today.
Hugs,
