Terrific colour sketch this week Makeesha. My design is basic with an elegant twist.

I used my markers to colour the image. Stamped the back ground and then sponged with Always Artichoke.
I wanted to add more detail, but decided to leave the card as is and attached the pearls and pretty bow.
Key Ingredients:
Stamps: Bloom Away, Tres Chic
Card: Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss, Rose Red, Print Pattern DP 6 x 6 Pack
Ink: Always Artichoke, Rose Red Marker
Accessories: Sponge, Pearls, SU's Satin Vanilla Ribbon, Bow Easy, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities Labels Three, Dimensionals
Till next time,

Christmas in July Swap

Hello,

Second post for today. I made this card for the Stamperoo's Christmas in July Swap. I made 34 swaps and 6 extras to add to my stash for Christmas. I love this scene, it definitely has a Northern Hemisphere feel. As we don't have snow at all, let alone Christmas it's something I can only dream about.

Recipe:
Stamps: A Wish for Peace, Occasional Greetings
Card: Handsome Hunter, Basic Grey, Whisper White
Ink: Handsome Hunter, Basic Grey & Summer Sun Markers
Accessories: Aqua Painter, 2 Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Wide Oval Punch, Cuttlebug, Scallop Oval Nestabilities, Dimensionals

I kept the design fairly plain, and used Handsome Hunter card, a colour I only seem to use for Christmas cards. I could have added some brads or crystals if I had enough to go round, which I will probably add to the cards that remain. Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hugs,

Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge #9 The Pink House

Hello,
I am at last uploading a card, had a busy week travelling backwards and forwards to Perth our capital city here in Western Australia. My husband has had a hand operation, so I am the designated driver. I have only managed to create this card and a few 3" x 3" cards as thank you's for my customer's orders. I thought the picture on the wall and the colours were the dominate feature, so I used a bit of creativity to make it.
I stamped the window applied a mask and stamped the background and sponged the colour on the white card. I then masked parts of the window and stamped the cakes inside. The roof and fence are on dimensionals.
Stamps: Window Dressing, Crazy for Cupcakes, Lucy Stamps Tag Letters and Numbers, Sanded BG, My Favourite Things Cakes
Card: Rose Red, Whisper White, Raspberry Tart DP
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose
Accessories: Crystal, Antique Brass Build A Brad, Martha Stewart Fence Punch, SU Scallop Edge Punch, SU Felt Flowers, Regal Rose Ribbon, Mini & Standard Brads, 1/4" Round Punch, Dimensionals, Glue Dot, Sponge
