30th Birthday Card - Time for a Beer

Hi there,
Today's post is a card I made for my Niece's partner Jevon for his 30th Birthday.  I coloured the Beer Mug with my Copic's and when it was dry I coated the glass area with crystal effects and applied Liquid Applique for the froth.  Looks terrific in real life, a bit hard to pick up in the photo.  I decorated the inside of the card in the same fashion and love how it came together.

Christmas Wreath
The Reverse Side of the Wreath.
I decided to make a Christmas Wreath with the Big Shot and the Leaves #2 Die from Stampin' Up! I know some of you saw the Autumn one displayed at Convention, but as I did not go I have created my own design. My base is an Oasis Wreath that I wrapped with SU's brown packing paper so it was not so easily damaged and much less messy.  I stamped the Old Olive and Real Red leaves with the different grass stamps from Autumn Days and sponged all the edges.  I manipulated the leaves with my fingers, giving them some shape, then I attached the leaves with a Hot Glue Gun.   I added the Designer Paper and Metallic Gold leaves last so I could evenly space them throughout the wreath.  I love this Traditional colour combination for Christmas.
Supplies:
Stamps: Autumn Days
Card: Old Olive, Real Red, Metallic Gold, Ski Slope DSP
Ink: Old Olive, Real Red
Embellishments: Ribbon Unfortunately Not SU, nothing to complement the colours available in the width I used
Tools: Big Shot, Leaves #2 Die, Oasis Wreath, Brown Packing Paper, Hot Glue Gun, Sponges, Double Sided Tape
Christmas Card Set
I made three cards using the Christmas Classics stamp set, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla cardstock and lots of embellishments. On each card I have gold embossed one of the images, cutting it out and mounted it on dimensionals. I have also scored a section of the Very Vanilla cardstock to add more definition. I love the elegant simplicty of these designs.

Supplies:
Stamps: Christmas Classics, Many Merry Messages, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Card: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
Ink: Versamark, Soft Suede
Embellishments: Gold Cord, Soft Suede Ribbon, Star Brads, Pearls, Star Gemstones
Tools: Fiskars Trimmer and Scoring Tool, Mat Pack and Piercing Tool, Heat Tool, Gold Embossing Powder, Embossing Buddy, Dimensionals, Gold Gel Pen, Stamp-a-ma-jig
Punched Book Tags - This Book Belongs to...............
I make these tags for our Grand-daughter's when I give them books as gifts for Christmas or Birthdays.  I have cased most of the images from others and added my own ideas.  I love that they are cute, add a little personal touch and the girls love to see their names on the tag.
Supplies:
Stamps: Frames With A Flourish
Card: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Real Red, Blush Blossom, Very Vanilla, Apricot Appeal, Black, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Metallic Gold
Ink: Bashful Blue, Close to Cocoa, Pretty In Pink, So Saffron, Apricot Appeal, Blush Blossom Chalk, White Gel Pen
Embellishments: Dazzling Diamonds
Tools: Computer and Printer, Sponges, Crystal Effects, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen, Big Shot, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Word Window Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Trio Flower Punch, 1 1/4" Square Punch, 1/4" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Scalloped Square Punch, 5 Petal Flower Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Aqua Painter, Stamp-a-ma-jig

Just Add Ink #26 - Wrought Iron Elegance

Hello Friends,
I have been away for just over a week in Perth staying with our youngest daughter while her husband was overseas.  I have had a lovely time bonding with our youngest Grand-daughter Jenna, and catching up with our family. I have missed my craft room and it is great to be home and stamping again.
For today I am showing the card I made for the Just Add Ink Challenge this week which was to do Dry or Heat Embossing.  I have used both techniques on my card. For the heat embossing I stamped the chandelier on the Versamark stamp pad and then onto a Black Stazon pad before stamping and then added clear embossing powder which was heat set with my Heating Tool.  I used the Big Shot and Polka Dot Embossing Folder for the background in Baja Breeze.  I also used my Martha Stewart Layered Arches Corner and Edger Punches to frame the focal image.  I added some bling using Taylored Expressions Mini Crystals and the Baja Satin Ribbon from SU!
Supplies:
Stamps: Kaisercraft Clear Stamps - Le Chateau Collection
Card: Black, Whisper White, Baja Breeze
Ink: Versamark, Stazon Black
Embellishments: Taylored Expressions Mini Crystals, SU's Baja Breeze Satin Ribbon
Tools: Big Shot, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Martha Stewart Layered Arches Corner and Edge Punches, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Dimensionals, Glue Dot, Jones Tones Gloop Glue, Toothpick, Jewel Picker, Bow Easy

Happy Stamping,

Just Add Ink # 25 - Purple Roses

Hi there,
Todays post is for this weeks Just Add Ink challenge.  I used the Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder by Stampin Up.  After inking up the top half of the folder with Elegant Eggplant I  ran it through the Big Shot.  The embossed details remained the same colour Very Vanilla and the rest of the card changed colour to Elegant Eggplant. I did need to touch up the elegant eggplant with my aqua painter in a couple of places and in doing so the roses now look like they have a velvety sheen. Very cool!! I love it, faux velvet.
Supplies:
Stamps: Sincere Salutations
Card: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Rose Red
Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Soft Suede
Embellishments: Elegant Eggplant Ribbon, Pearls
Tools: Big Shot, Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder, Aqua painter, Large Oval Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, Mat Pack and Piercing Tool, Dimensionals
Thanks for popping in today.  Happy Stamping.
