What is ESAD you say?
What is ESAD you say?
ESAD stands for Extra Special Australian (and New Zealand) Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!
We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when it's needed. So if you are a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.
OK so on with the Hop!!
I am featuring one of the new Stampin' Up! Punches from the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue called Extra-Large Two Step Bird punch. The punch has a birds body, wing and a leafy branch. I have made a 3D Birdhouse and a card to show off my Red Capped Robin.
Supplies:
Stamps: Weathered Background,
Card: Kraft, Ruby Red, Old Olive, Whisper White, Black, Close to Cocoa
Ink: Old Olive, Sahara Sand, Ruby Red
Embellishments: Chunky Glitter, Black Pearl
Tools: Crimper, Scallop Edge Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen, Crystal Effects, Sponges
For my next set of cards I have used the Extra-Large Two Step Bird Punch, the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, Stampin' Up! Top Note Bigz Die and the Stampin' Up! Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Perfect Polka Dots. Instead of a bird I have made some Tulips out of the Wing of the Bird just to show how versatile Stampin' Up! punches are. I have cased the idea from a number of people at Splitcoast Stampers and added my own design elements to change it up a little. For the leaves on the second card I cut them freehand and embossed them with an embossing tool.
Supplies:
Stamps: Vintage Labels
Card: Pumpkin Pie, Regal Rose, Whisper White, Old Olive, Sweet Always DP
Ink: Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie,
Embellishments: Brads, Regal Rose Grossgrain Ribbon,
Tools: Small and Large Oval Punches, Scallop Edge Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, Big Shot, Circles and Scalloped Circle Sizzix Dies, Dimensionals, Mat Pack and Piercing Tool, Top Note Die, Perfect Polka Dot EB Folder, Sponges, Word Window Punch, Silver Cord (R), Bow Easy, Embossing Tool
The last card is a Heliconia flower, created by Anne Fitzgerald. For the flower I created my own leaves by folding the card in half and running it through my crimper at an angle so the crimp appears to go in two different directions.
Supplies:
Stamps: None
Card: Regal Rose, Whisper White, Sweet Always DP
Ink: Old Olive, Regal Rose, Barely Banana, Certainly Celery, Rose Red
Embellishments: Regal Rose Grossgrain Ribbon
Tools: Extra-Large Two Step Bird Punch, Big Shot, Top Note Bigz Die, Perfect Polka Dot EB Folder, Dimensionals, Crimper, Large Glue Dot, 2 Way Glue Pen, Sponges, Daubers
