Merry Monday #123 - Joyful Christmas

Happy Monday All,
Welcome to this week's Merry Monday Challenge and Bonnie is challenging us to use a Wreath on our cards.  I love the inspiration photo and mimicked it in my card with Stampin' Ups new stamp set "Wondrous Wreath" available in the new Holiday Catalogue on the 28th of August.  It is a three step stamp set, I didn't get the darker green layer quite right, but I like it. I finished off the wreath with some shiny Silver and Red Pearls and the new Satin Ribbon also from Stampin' Up! I layered the Joy word three times, thought about clear embossing it but decided not too.  I dry embossed the white background.

Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's Wondrous Wreath
Card and Papers: Whisper White, Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Waxed Paper,
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow, Real Red
Finishing Touches: Shiny Silver and Red Pearls, Real Red Woven Satin Ribbon
Cool Tools: Big Shot, Sizzix Stripes E/Folder, Sizzix Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies, Dble Sided Tape, Dimensionals, Tombow Multi Purpose Glue
Thanks for taking a peek today.
Hugs,

Happy Monday Everyone,

Online Card Classes - Stretch Your Stamps 2 - Day 2 - Love

Hi there,
Today's card is another Reverse Background Stamp Design, Demonstrated by the very talented Jennifer McGuire, I love the look of this stunning technique of Perfect Pearls on Black card.  I designed this Forever Red Perfect Pearls card for today, but the Gold and Multi coloured pieces I made are so dramatic and I still need to design a card around them.  I followed Jennifer's tip on finishing off the Word die cut using Clear Embossing Powder instead of Crystal Effects, a much easier and quicker way to make it shine.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs,

Online Card Classes - Stretch Your Stamps 2 - Day 1 - Happy Birthday

Hello Friends,
Today I have joined the Online Card Classes - Stretch Your Stamps 2.  This is my version of a card that I loved from Shari Carroll's Demonstration on Day 1 using a Reverse Background Stamp. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Stamp Pads, Antique Photo, Evergreen Bough, Peeled Paint and Crushed Olive on Tim Holtz Watercolour card. The stamping is second generation and so soft and pretty.   I cut my piece into 1" Squares and mounted them with Dimesnionals.  The Happy Die cut and Birthday Stamp is from WPlus 9's Whole Lotta Happy Stamp Set.  I used the left over stamped squares on the inside of my card.

This is the result of my first stamping off for these two pieces and it was my third attempt, not quite enough water on the left hand side and the colour is a lot more vibrant.  There is a fine line between success and being okay and a lot of experimenting in between.  I enjoyed the process!!

Thanks for dropping by today.
Hugs,

Pat Carr's Annual Stamp Camp April 2014 - Birthday and Anniversary Book

Dear Friends,
Today's project is a handy Birthday and Anniversary Book enclosed in an inexpensive Photo Album.  It is small enough to carry around in your handbag. To make the pages you can use any supplies you have on hand and vary the stamping to suit the Birthday's or Anniversaries that come up in each month.  The colours for the stamping were co-ordinated to match and compliment the Designer Papers. Pat designed and created the template on her computer, at the front of the Book we have the Anniversaries and what they represent and the Birthstones and Flowers for each month for easy reference. Enjoy!
