Hello Friends,
A couple of weeks ago I was awarded a Top Pick at the CAS Mix Up Challenge and I have been invited to be a Guest Designer for them for July.  The Challenge this month is to (Colour Your Die-Cuts) an interesting and challenging technique to do with some fabulous inspiration from some fellow Stampers in the form of Videos.  For my card today I loved Sheri Carrolls take on this Technique and this is the card I came up with.  I did some Watercolour Smooshing for the base of the die cuts and then layered the white outline on the top.  For the Inside I used the same flower and Fussy Cut it to make a smaller flower.  The Sentiment was stamped with Versamark and Heat Embossed with White embossing powder.

CAS Watercolour Challenge June 2018 - Oceans - The Ocean

Hi Stampers,
Today's post is for the latest CAS Watercolour challenge for June.  For my card today I made a Scene looking out a Porthole to the Ocean for something a little different.  I Die cut the round Circles using my Spellbinders Classic Circle Dies.  I punched a Scallop Circle and sponged the sky to create the clouds.  The Sailing Ship and Sea were coloured using Markers and an Aqua Painter.  I then used a Black Artline Pen to mimic the stamp at the bottom of the porthole were the image didn't stamp and White Gel Pen to make waves and the White Caps around the boat.  The birds are hand drawn and the Sentiment was curled to the shape of the circle.  The Pearls on the Porthole were coloured with a Gold Metallic Sharpie.
In the next photo I tried to capture the shine of the Gold Card on the Porthole.
Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's The Open Sea, Any Occasion
Card: Thick and Thin Whisper White, Gold Foil Card
Ink: Stazon Black, Bashful Blue, Real Red, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Black Fine Artline Pen,
Finishing Touches: White Gel Pen, Pearls, Gold Sharpie Metallic Pen
Cool Tools: Aqua Painter, 1 3/4 Scalloped Circle Punch, Sponge, Misti, Dble Sided Tape, Foam Tape, Tombow Multi Purpose Glue
Thanks for taking a peek.
