Today's post is for this weeks challenge at The Paper Players. The sketch has a bit of a twist to it with the main image split with a diagonal piece covering it. I would usually put this strip behind the image as I built the card. So I designed a fairly simple card masking the poppies as I stamped. I wanted to add more embellishments..... but decided not to. I always think Black, White and Red make a stunning card and I love these colours together.
This card was awarded the Cut Above Badge from The Paper Players.
Supplies:
Stamps: Flourishes Poppy Patch Set #35, S/U's Teeny Tiny Sentiments, En Francais BG
Card: Real Red, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: Stazon Black, Real Red, Mellow Moss
Embellishments: White Satin Ribbon
Tools: Scallop Edge Punch, Curly Label Punch, Dimensionals, Dble Sided Tape
Thanks for calling in today.
