Emily's 80th Birthday Hibiscus Flowers

Hi there,

This is a card I made for Emily to give to a Friend who was turning 80 years old.  I cut the flowers with a die and sponged them with colour applying a slightly darker orange around the edges and Merry Merlot in the centers of each flower.  The larger leaves were also sponged with two shades of green.  The smaller leaves were cut with a die.  The 80 is layered and the top numbers are coloured with a sponge.  I embossed the background matt and then fussy cut the copper foiled sentiment and finished off with the Pearls.

100th Birthday Roses

Hello Friends,

Today's card was made for a 100th Birthday on the 10th March.  I painted the flowers with an Aqua Painter and coloured the rest of the image with Markers.  The numbers were fussy cut and mounted on dimensionals and I finished off with 5 white pearls.

Hello Stampers,

Today's card is for our youngest Grand daughter's Birthday this month.  The Family have 2 dogs Gypsy and Ollie a Cavoodle and a Gravoodle and these images are a good likeness.  The dogs and flowers were fussy cut, and I sponged the edges of the pieces with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  I stamped the Greeting, numbers and Happy Birthday, then die cut them with 3 dies.

Wedding Anniversary 2025

Hello Friends,

This is the card I gave my Husband for our Wedding Anniversary this year.  I layered the arched window and sponged it for more dimension with distress ink.  I fussy cut the flowers and butterfly, sponged the edges and shaped them for more dimension and used dimensionals to attach them to the card.  The background was cut out with a stitched rectangle die and then embossed with the brick E/Folder. I finished off with a stamped and sponged sentiment attached with Foam Tape.

Today's card was made for a Friends Birthday today.  I stamped the flowers and birds and coloured them with Copics and Blends. I die cut the birds, but then decided to fussy cut them because I thought it looked better without the white edge. The die cut Birdcage is 2 layers, one in white card and then the gold foil and the Sentiment was Gold Foiled with a Hot Foil plate from Spellbinders and mounted on dimensionals.

Hello, Happy New Year!

I made this card for a Friend who wanted a Dolphin card to give to someone who finished a renovation to a house near a beach and loves Dolphins.

 

I used designer paper for the background from Stampin' Up's Whale of a Tale Designer Paper collection.  The Dolphins were die cut twice from White card and I sponged the main body piece with Smokey Slate and Basic Grey and then pieced the two die cuts together for some dimension.  The Greeting was stamped with Stazon Black and mounted on Foam Tape and a strip of designer paper was attached to the inside.

Today's card was made for my Husbands Birthday today.  First time I have used the Pretty Birds stamps and dies, and I love how the card came together.  I coloured the birds with Copics and Gold Foiled the Sentiment, the background was embossed with the Stone E/Folder.  The birdcage was layered 4 times for dimension and the HB was fussy cut and mounted on dimensionals.

Bill's 80th Birthday

Hello Friends,

Today I am posting a card I made for a Friend's 80th Birthday.  I stamped the car on Brushed Silver card with Stazon Black ink and used designer paper for the mats with silver accents.  The Smokey Grey piece of card has been dry embossed with the 3D Basics E/Folder.  The White mat was dry embossed with the Diamond Plate from Provo Craft.  I layered the numbers 3 times and used dimensionals to give the card layers more dimension.  I thought I had captured the shiny accents in my photos but not as much as I wanted too.

Dinosaur #2

Hi there,

Showcasing another Dinosaur card today made from a lot of different Punches and a Computer Disc.  It was designed by Pat Carr originally and made at a Stamp Camp in 2013and you can find it here. I did use a Triangle Punch for the spikey bits on top of the card, I think Pat used squares.  I had to make an envelope with Designer Paper and the Envelope Punch as the spikey bits on the top of the head extended past a C6 envelope.

I was requested to make a Dinosaur card for a 1-year old's Birthday, and this is one of the cards I made.  I sponged the Decorative Dots embossing and the edges of the front mat and eyebrows.  The eyebrows are mounted on dimensionals to give more dimension to the card.  I shaped the face and inside mat with a Computer Disc.  The rest of the card was finished with punches

Today I am showcasing a card I made for a Friend for an 11-year-old nephew.  I stamped and coloured with Copics and fussy cut the images.  The 11 was layered three times with Real Red cardstock and adhered to the front of the card after I stamped the Happy Birthday in Real Red ink.  The inside of the card was stamped with a Soccer ball.

Today's post is a card for a Diamond Wedding Anniversary requested by a Friend.  I embossed the front of the card with the Ruffled E/Folder, Layered the two heart die cuts and fussy cut the Silver embossed flowers.  The numbers were layered 3 times to give more dimension.  I finished off with the Rhinestones and Silver embossed Sentiment.  The inside has a Diamond die cut and some more fussy cut flowers.
