Cancer Fun Day October 2012

Hello Everyone,
Last Sunday I attended a Cancer Fundraiser Day in Perth organised by my stamping friend Pat Carr.  We had a most enjoyable day and completed the following gorgeous projects.  Andrea Buckland, Odette Kermonde and Pat designed the projects. I did change a few of the design elements a little and added a few extra finishing touches.
Lovely Name Tag made by Andrea Buckland
We stamped the Doily and then added the flourish.  The petals of the flower were punched with the Blossom Petals Builder Punch and centre using the circle punches. We added some tulle in the centre. The inside was decorated also.

Love this beautiful card and the Poppy stamp.  The base was sponged and Airbrushed with a Marker.  We also sponged the main image panel and the inside after it was coloured with Markers and an Aqua Painter.  A couple of the flowers are cut out and mounted on Dimensionals.

I love this idea, you add the strips to a piece of card 5cm x 14.2cm and then cut the shape, larger piece on the front and what's left over is used to decorate the inside. The flower is layered with the ribbon.

Beautiful Christmas card by Andrea Buckland.

Pretty card using the Tea Shoppe Stamp Set.
Gorgeous Christmas Ornament. We used a Glue Gun to put it together and the new Silicone Mats. Love the way we tied the ribbon, hangs beautifully. I will be making some more of these.
I adore this pre-made box that we decorated from Stampin' Up!  After the Very Vanilla panels were embossed we sponged them with White Shimmer Mist and then made the pretty bow on the top and added the decoration to the bottom edges of the box.
Yummm... this was Afternoon Tea, they were delicious, and I did only eat one. They are made by a friend of Pat's.
Hope you enjoyed my preview of the day.
Happy Stamping!

Merry Monday #38 - Vintage Deer

Hi Folks,
Today's post is for the Merry Monday Sketch Challenge this week. I wanted a Vintage look so I stamped the background with En Francais and the splotchy stamp from French Foliage and sponged the edges. For the deer I stamped twice, once on Very Vanilla and the other on Crumb Cake.  I cut out the deer stamped on Crumb Cake and masked the head and tail and stamped the snowflakes on his back. I didn't want the pennant layer to hide the image so I used a Window Sheet for my sentiment and finished off with the satin ribbon and a pearl.

Supplies:
Stamps: Flourishes - Flourished Christmas, S/U's Snowflakes (R), French Foliage, En Francias BG, Curly Cute
Card and Papers: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Window Sheets
Ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Stazon Black
Finishing Touches: Early Espresso Satin Ribbon, Pearl
Cool Tools: Big Shot, Spellbinders Classic Circle Nestabilities, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Sponge, 1 1/4" Square Punch, 2 Way Glue Pen, Dimensionals, Dble Sided Tape

I am also linking my card to the CHNC Challenge 95.

Thanks for popping in today.

Freshly Made Sketches #55 - 5th Birthday

Hello Stampers,
Today's post is for the Freshly Made Sketch this week. I coloured in the images with my Markers and you wouldn't believe how many goes I had but I finished it eventually. I love Real Red but it is so easy to smudge and transfer the colour where it shouldn't be. Does that happen to you? LOL. This card turned out exactly as I had planned from the start, it's great when a card comes together like that.

Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's Patterned Party, Papertrey Ink - Boy Basics Game On
Card and Papers: Whisper White, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, DSP Big Top Birthday
Markers: Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Summer Starfruit
Finishing Touches: Real Red Grossgrain Ribbon
Cool Tools: Big Shot, Spellbinders Classic Circles Nestabilities, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Dble Sided Tape, Dimensionals
Thanks for visiting today.
