Retro Sketches #77 - Birthday Wishes

Hi Friends,
Today's card is for the fabulous Retro Sketch Challenge this week.  I love how the sketch uses the negative part of the die cut as the focal point.  I have used both and stamped the sentiment on the die cut, sponged the edges and used the Autumn leaf stamp, stamped off to add some interest on the leaf. I rocked and rolled the leaf stamp for the inside with Crumb Cake and Certainly Celery. I finished off with some Bakers Twine and Pearls.

Merry Monday #71 - Be Merry

This sketch left me feeling quite challenged, mainly because I wanted to design something that wasn't a circle to fit the sketch.  I ended up making two cards, this one involved a bit of cutting out and stamping in different colours, the second one will be in the next post. Merry Monday #70 - Christmas Poinsettia's

Hello Friends,
Today's post is for this weeks Merry Monday Sketch Challenge #70. I used Stampin' Up's Bells and Boughs stamp set this week for my card.  I water coloured the image with my Markers and instead of red I used Calypso Coral as one of my colours with Garden Green. I finished off with some pearls in the centre of the flowers, a Mini Green Crystal on the sentiment and some Twine from the Twinery.

Merry Monday #69 - Merry Christmas

Hi there,
Today's post is for the Merry Monday Sketch Challenge this week.  I used the Mini Punches from Merry Mini Punch Pack and Glimmer card  for my focal points.  The white mat is embossed and finished off with the Dotted Scallop Border Punch.  The sentiment is from S/U's Holiday Hedgehogs Stamp Set. I finished off the inside of my card with Merry Mini's stamp set and coloured the rubber with my markers before stamping.

Curtin Call Inspiration Challenge - July 15 - Feeling Nautical

Happy Monday Everyone,
Today's card is for the new Curtin Call Inspiration Challenge - Feeling Nautical. I stamped the images and then masked them, brayered the background and then spritzed it with my Colour Spritzer Tool and Crumb Cake Marker.  I sponged in the shadows and coloured the images.  To create the foam on the waters edge I applied Crystal Effects and sprinkled Clear and White embossing powder intermittently and heated it with my Heat Tool.  The Heat Tool makes the Crystal Effects bubble and creates the look of the waters edge on the sand.
