One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #19 R - Silver Tree

Hey Everyone,
Just letting you know that there is still time to play at our One Layer Christmas Card Challenge.  The challenge is Anything Goes with the Optional Twist to Use Silver on your card.  I created a Faux Metallic Background using Distress Ink and Perfect Pearls and then stamped my Tree in Versamark and Silver embossed it.  Love the effect, I might try the same technique but with a darker background colour next time so that the image pops more.

Merry Monday #175 - Christmas Moose

Happy Monday Friends,
It's Monday and time for a new challenge at Merry Monday.  This week Nina is challenging us to Use a Moose on our Christmas cards.  This is the only Moose I have in my stash with the DSP so I had to use it.  I love it, such a fun image!  I stamped the image and coloured it with Markers, used some mats and punches to finish off my card.  Hope you have fun and join us for the challenge this week.

Merry Monday #174 - Christmas Coffee

Happy Monday Stampers:
Time for a new challenge at Merry Monday and Lori is our Hostess this week and she is challenging us to Make a Christmas card with a Coffee theme. I went with the colours in the picture and did a colour wash on Very Vanilla with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and then applied some Wendy Vecchi Gold embossing paste.  I printed out the mug on Very Vanilla and the DSP.  Fussy cut the images and backed them so I could add Dimensionals to the back of the mug.  I finished off with the punched out stars and the sentiment.

Santa's on His Way

Silent Night

Hello Friends,
Today's post is a card I used for a  Christmas Workshop recently with stamps from Stampin' Up's Holiday Catalogue. I did case it from Amy K here. 
I stamped the trees with Black Stazon, repeat stamping without inking the stamp and then sponged Soft Sky at the bottom and Night of Navy for the Sky blending with the Soft Sky in the middle.  I ripped the bottom edge and used my Aqua Painter to spread droplets of water over the sponged area.  I then stamped the stars with Craft White.  Finished off by placing the Sentiment with my stamp-a-ma-jig and attaching the Crystal.  Also stamped the trees inside and applied some light sponging.

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #18 - Mistletoe

Today's post is for the One Layer Christmas Card Challenge.  Our challenge is Anything Goes with an Optional Twist to Use Mistletoe on your card.  If you use the option you will go into a draw at the end of the month for a prize.
I have used the Inlaid Technique for the Mistletoe and built my card around the die cut.  I added some pearls for the berries with Silver ribbon and a Silver embossed sentiment.
