Keira is 8

Hello Friends,
Our Grand daughter Keira was born on the 26th December and turned 8 this year.  This is the card I made for her, Keira is into Minecraft Lego and we gave her the Minecraft Cow soft toy for Christmas she loved it.
I cut the squares at 1cm x 1cm, drew a grid on the card to help me keep everything lined up. It took me a while to make but it was well worth it.

Merry Monday #183 - Christmas Candy

It's time for a new challenge at Merry Monday.  Kristie is challenging us to make a Christmas card with a Candy Cane on it this week.  Hope you will play along and check out the other Design Teams creations.  I have used some retired Stampin' Up images for my card and had fun colouring in the Gingerbread House.  The background was stamped with the Candy Cane from Jolly Bingo Bits. Merry Monday #182 - Christmas Birds

Hi Friends,
This week it's Kathy's turn to be Hostess and she is challenging us to Use a Bird on our Christmas cards.  I dry embossed the background with Sizzix's Brick Wall embossing folder and die cut the birds and leaves, cutting the large bird image out three times to get the different pieces. I finished off by adding pearls and the sentiment.

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #22 - Christmas Shopping

Happy Tuesday Friends,
Welcome to a new Challenge at One Layer Christmas Cards.  For this challenge Anything Goes with an Optional Twist to Use a Silhouette on your Christmas card.  If you use the Twist you will be in the running for a Prize given by Shery at the end of the month.  For my card I stamped my images and then Water coloured some colour onto my little scene with my Aqua Painter.  Added the Sentiment and I was done!

Merry Monday #180 - Reindeer in Flight

Hi Stampers,
Debbie is our Hostess this week at Merry Monday and she is challenging us to Make a Card with a Reindeer on it.  I embossed the Background with Silver embossing powder and then sponged Distress Inks over it.  I matted this onto Silver Foil and Pacific Point card.  Die cut the Reindeer and mounted it on Dimensionals over some Silver Thread.  Finished off by adding some Crystals, the Sentiment and a Deer, Silver embossed on the inside of my card.
