Pat Carr's Camp Avalon April 2015 - Tie Dye Watercolour Technique

Hello Friends,
In April 2015 I attended Pat Carr's Camp Avalon at Toodyay.  The theme for the camp was Techniques, so we came away with a File full of ideas explaining the technique, with a sample swatch and a card using it. It was a lot of fun and I learned a few new techniques too.  This card was designed and made by Pat.

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #30 - Merry and Bright

Hello Friends,
Welcome to the last One Layer Christmas Card Challenge.  Shery has decided to close the challenge but the linky will be open until November 30 2016 so you can post your one layer cards all year.
For my card I stamped the images and then made a mask with masking medium and added glue to adhere the glitter to make it sparkle and shine.  Hope you like it and it gives you some inspiration to join us for the last challenge.

Merry Monday #201 - Embossed Christmas Ornaments

Hi there,
Welcome to a new challenge at Merry Monday, this week Debbie is challenging us to Use Purple, White and Silver on our Christmas cards.  I white embossed the ornaments on Rich Razzleberry card and used a punch to cut them out and decorated them with 1/8" Silver Ribbon.  I stamped the sentiment with Rich Razzleberry ink and finished off with some pearls.

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #29 R - Santa's Dance

Today's post is a reminder that you have a week to join the One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #29. The challenge is a One Layer Card and use any theme you may want to create.  I have used Stampin' Up's Visions of Santa stamp set, one I have never really known what to do with.  I have noticed a lot of Stampers are only colouring in parts of their stamping so I have given it a go for this card.  Hope you like it.

Merry Monday's 200th Celebration

This week we would like everyone to help us celebrate Merry Monday's 200th Challenge. Kim's Card

For my card I have used the Sketch and Colour challenges from the Challenge board.  I used Crumb Cake Blendabilities and a Water Based Marker to get the different shades of Kraft on my card.  I water coloured the Cat with with my Crumb Cake Marker and Aqua Painter and the two dogs were coloured with the Light Crumb Cake Blendabilities. I played around with the Cat's scarf  using two shades of green and stamped a second image layering it on foam tape for more dimension.  I finished off with the embossed heart, Dazzling Diamonds and a Pom Pom on the Santa Hat.

Merry Monday #199 - Merry Christmas

Hi to All,
This week at Merry Monday Colleen is challenging us to Make the Sentiment your Focal Point on your Christmas card.  My sentiment stamp comes with the Holly as part of it, to which I water coloured and added the Pearls and Sequins.  I used a designer paper by Kaisercraft and matted it with Cherry Cobbler.  Clean and Simple design, easy to reproduce, hope you like it!

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #28 R - Snow Globe Soldier

Hello Friends,
Just a reminder to let you know that you have a week left to play along at the latest One Layer Christmas card challenge.  Keeping with the soldier theme from last week I have used this Snow Globe from Stampin' Up's Sparkly Season.  I used Markers to colour the image and also embossed some snow which isn't showing very clearly in the photo.  I coloured the Sentiment with Markers direct to the stamp after removing the Soft Suede ink with a Blender Pen.  Hope you will play along, remembering that the theme is One Layer of card and the challenge is Anything Goes.
