Pat Carr's Stamp Camp October 2016 - Project #1 - Watercolour Lift Technique

Hi Friends,
For today's post I am featuring a project we made at Pat Carr's Stamp Camp in October 2016. There are 20 projects in all.  I have quite a few posts to catch up on so will endeavour to keep them coming until they are done.

Watercolour Lift Technique

You apply a lot of water to your card then drop drops of different colours from re-inkers or a paintbrush on to the card, swish it around a little with a paint brush and when it is quite saturated with colour you remove the colour and water with a papter towel.  When the card is dry you stamp with Versamark after apply the embossing buddy and emboss with clear embossing powder.  This then picks up the image and darkens it where the embossing has been done.

The borders on the mats have been made with the Best Badge Punch.

Merry Monday #229 - Christmas Angel

Hello there,
Happy New Year!  Welcome back to the Merry Monday challenges.  The idea is to make Christmas cards all year so it's not such a rush at the end of the year just before Christmas, hope you will join us. I am the host this week and I would like you to Use An Angel or Angels on your Christmas card.
I used this gorgeous Angel with Kitten digital image from Mo Manning.  Coloured the image with Copics in soft pastel colours and finished off with some Bakers Twine and Sequins.  The sentiment is stamped on acetate.

Merry Monday #227 - Holiday Cheer

Hello there,
It's Monday and time for another Merry Monday Challenge.  This week Nina is challenging us to Use Holiday Cheer on our Christmas cards.  I used Whisper White, Old Olive and Metallic Copper to make my card with Orange Sequins and Silver Foil for the Spoon.  I dry embossed the Mug Die cut and Embossed the steam with White embossing powder on Vellum.  I used Copper embossing powder for the Sentiment.

Merry Monday #225 - Candy Canes

Welcome to a new challenge at Merry Monday.  Linda is challenging us to Use Candy Canes on our card this week.  I decided to add the Candy Canes to tag and attach the tag to a present using red and white as my colour theme. The white mat is embossed with the Stripes embossing folder from Sizzix. I finished off with a red glitter bow and round foiled candy punched out from some designer paper.

Twelve Tags of Christmas with Loll and Friends 2016 - Reindeer Tag

Hi Friends,
I have been wanting to join in with Loll's Twelve Tags of Christmas Challenge for the last couple of weeks and I finally found time to make a tag.  I made the background with a Clear Acrylic Block, Watercolour Markers and a Mini Mister and stamped on Watercolour card.  When the background was dry I stamped the Fir Trees, Grass and Sentiment.  I Die cut the Reindeer and attached it with Dimensionals.  The Mini Crystal for the eye was coloured with a Black Sharpie.  You can still play along with the challenge until the 25th November using Stamping plus 2 Mixed Media Elements.
