I added the crystals and pearls to the flower centre, wrapped some ribbon around and then I personalised each notebook by printing the receiver's name on the computer and punched it out with the small oval punch and attached it to the front cover.

Christmas 2008

Christmas 2008 ....It came and went so fast, I only made a few cards, just enough to get by this year. I had a few late orders to fill so they took priority over my goodies. I must start and do some every month in 2009 so I build up my supplies. I was so far behind, I spent a few hours on Christmas Eve finishing of some gifts I needed for Christmas day, just as well I had wrapped our presents and made some salads for Lunch. So this was the main card we sent out this year.

Stamps:
City of David
Card:
Always Artichoke, Vanilla, Cranberry Crisp, Holiday Thyme DP
Ink: Black Stazon, Always Artichoke, Creamy Caramel, Basic Grey, Cranberry Crisp, Blush Blossom Markers & Stamp Pads Accessories: Square Scallop Punch, Gold Brads, Oval Nestabilities, Cuttlebug, Dimensionals, Aqua Painter, Kindy Glitz, 1/8" Punch

This is the inside.

I made these Christmas Tree Box Decorations to give to the Ladies and filled them with chocolates. They were very easy to make and I cased them from Brenda Quintana who had prepared a tutorial and template that could be printed onto your card to cut them out, which I did as we travelled to Perth. Also stamped the flower and cut that out as we travelled. I was going to put a star at the top, but forgot my punch.

Stamps:
Priceless, Season of Joy, Party Punch
Card: Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Ink: Certainly Celery, Real Red
Accessories: Real Red Ribbon, Designer Label Punch, Scissors

Stamp Camp December 2008

On December 5th I attended a Stamp Camp with a group of 18 Stampin Up Demo's. Our Up-line Manager, Ngaire Anderson organised the event. Thank You Ngaire for organising the weekend. We had a busy couple of days stamping and making a number of projects. On the Friday night we made swaps that everyone had created for the occasion.

These are some of the make and takes. Mine is in the top left hand corner.

These are some more of the Make and Takes.

These two were made by my good friends Makeesha Byl and Jan White. Jan White's is a Credit Card Holder.

This is my Make and Take.

Stamps: SU Pick A Petal, Bodacious Bouquet, Stem Sayings
Card: Whisper White, Buckeroo Blue
Ink: Buckeroo Blue, Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, Mat Pack & Pieceing Tool, 1/8" Circle Punch, Soft Sky Double Stitched Ribbon, 1" Circle Punch, SU Chunky Glitter, Glue, Scissors, Sponge

I really loved this Notebook/Shopping List idea that Esther Whitmee brought as a Make & Take.

Inside view of Notebook.

On Saturday, Ngaire invited Odette, Lynda Winfield, Pat Carr and myself to do a Workshop presentation.

Odette instructed us on the finer details of making a Mini Scrapbook Album. I used the SU Secret Garden Simply Scrappin Kit. I have not finished detailing the pages yet as I am undecided on the size of the photo's I will use.

These are the only pages I have completed. I really loved this project and how professional it looks, thank's to Odette's direction, and a little time and effort.

Linda Winfield presented the next workshop and wowed everyone with the Polished Stone Technique. This Technique is very effective and we made two fantastic cards.

Pat Carr presented a Punch Class. It was really fun and we all loved the characters we made, they are so cute.

I presented Fancy Folds as the last Workshop. We made a Pyramid Card and a Stand alone Pop Up card. I cased the Pyramid card from Stampowl's blog and must give her credit for this fold. I made a few different Pyramid cards for the ladies to see how they could be used.

This was the card everyone made.

Stamps: In The Stars
Card: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, River Rock, SU Ginger Blossom Designer Paper
Ink: Chocolate Chip, River Rock, Ruby Red
Accessories: Large and Small Star Punches, Dimensionals, Scoring Tool

Christmas Card.

I used a paper clip to hold the cards together and did not stick the tape on the last side of the card so it could lay flat for posting as shown in this photo. If folded this way the card will fit into a C6 Medium envelope.

Baby Pyramid Card.

Greetings from Australia Pyramid Card.

This Stand alone Pop Up Card is the second Fancy Fold we made.

This is a view of the card closed for posting, and it will fit into a C6 envelope.

Here is another Stand Alone Pop Up card. I made this one a little larger to accommodate the Chef stamp and I was happy with the way it turned out.

Ink:<em>White Craft, Black Stazon, Basic Grey and Real Red SU Markers

A Celebration

I found this stamp and thought it represented my blog's name to a tee, so I decided to use it as my first upload.

Stamps: Definition of a Cat by Stamp It
Card: SU Basic Grey, Black, Real Red and Whisper White
Ink: Black Stazon and various SU Markers Stardust Gelly Roll Pen for some sparkle.
Accessories: 1 3/8 Circle Punch, Scallop Punch, Dimensionals, Computer for Sentiment, Basic Grey Taffetta Ribbon, Cat Paw Charms, Stardust Gelly Roll Pen, Cutter Kit, Cuttlebug EB Folder Swiss Dots.

I cut out a second cat image and mounted it on Dimensionals after I coloured it with my SU Markers to give the image some dimension. Then I used the Cutter Kit to rough up the edges of the main image. I used my computer to create the sentiment and the 1 3/8" Circle punch and the Scallop punch to cut it out. I added the SU Basic Grey Taffetta ribbon, some sparkle using the Gelly Roll pen and some cat paw charms to finish it off.

Welcome to my Blog!

It has taken a couple of years for me to finally take the plunge and organise a blog. I hope to share my love of papercrafting and stamping to all those like minded individuals that are addicted to stamps, ribbon and ink. There are so many talented stampers with blogs, but I hope Cat's Ink.Corporated will be a fun place for you to visit and informative enough for you to want to return often. So stayed tuned and I hope to be sharing my stamping creations with you soon.
