Addicted to CAS #1 and Dynamic Duos # 29 - Christmas Baubles

Hello Friends,
Today's post is for two challenges, the Dynamic Duos Colour Challenge with a Desert Option to add a Snowman and a new challenge Addicted to CAS with a Code Word - Snow. I made a mask for the ornament with the mini Snowman and stamped the Snowman, embossed the Snowflakes, sponged the sky and added the Dazzling Diamonds. I followed the outline of the ornament mask and drew a line to define it more and added the Dazzling Diamonds to give it some sparkle.  Finished off the inside with  a smaller ornament stamp.

Merry Monday # 42 - Vintage Santa

Hello Friends,
Today's post is for this weeks Merry Monday Sketch.  I used Designer papers to make my card including the Vintage Santa with some embossed Crumb Cake.  For the embossed strips I coloured the embossing folder with the Crumb Cake stamp pad and then embossed the banners.  Santa image was a tag and I punched him out and matted with a scallop circle.  All elements are sponged with ink.  The sentiment panels were cut out with the Apothecary Accents Framelit and then cut back and pierced with the Essentials Pack.  I used the left over Designer Paper scraps for the inside of my card. Merry Monday #41 - Merry Christmas

Hi Stampers,
I made this card for the Merry Monday Sketch Challenge, my first attempt, I wasn't really happy with it.  I didn't think there was enough definition between the designer papers, gold metallic card and the gold embossed image on the soft suede, especially front on in a photo.  At this angle you can see the different layers so I thought I would post it.

My card probably just needed a different designer paper to show the layers better, in person it looks fine.

Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #82 - Spring Delight

Hi Stampers,
Today's post is for Chuppa's Sketchbook Saturday Challenge.  I found the sketch while surfing the net and loved it so much and Chuppa's card that I just had to play along.  I wish I had a pretty flower like Iwona's to play along with, it's just gorgeous.  I picked my colours from Stampin Up's Colour Coach under Melon Mambo, I had to see if they would really work together and you might need your sunny's on, they are very bright. It's amazing how nice the colours are together, although I wasn't sure how I would tie them together, but I think the button, ribbon and pearls have done the job.
