Santa's on His Way

Hello All,
My post today is the second card we made at a recent Christmas Workshop that I held.  I did show the ladies how to use Waxed Paper between the die and card to the little die cuts so they came free easily, especially the reins from Santa to the Horse.

Silent Night

Hello Friends,
Today's post is a card I used for a  Christmas Workshop recently with stamps from Stampin' Up's Holiday Catalogue. I did case it from Amy K here. 
I stamped the trees with Black Stazon, repeat stamping without inking the stamp and then sponged Soft Sky at the bottom and Night of Navy for the Sky blending with the Soft Sky in the middle.  I ripped the bottom edge and used my Aqua Painter to spread droplets of water over the sponged area.  I then stamped the stars with Craft White.  Finished off by placing the Sentiment with my stamp-a-ma-jig and attaching the Crystal.  Also stamped the trees inside and applied some light sponging.

Merry Monday #172 - Partridge in a Pear Tree

Hello Friends,

It's Monday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Merry Monday.  This week Katie is the Hostess and she is challenging us to Use Watercolouring on our Christmas cards.
I water coloured the image and background for my card and part of the inside panel.  The image is from a retired Stampin' Up! set called Stained Glass, which is normally a rectangle image but with in that is this cathedral window which I took advantage of.  Hope you like it....

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #18 - Mistletoe

Today's post is for the One Layer Christmas Card Challenge.  Our challenge is Anything Goes with an Optional Twist to Use Mistletoe on your card.  If you use the option you will go into a draw at the end of the month for a prize.
I have used the Inlaid Technique for the Mistletoe and built my card around the die cut.  I added some pearls for the berries with Silver ribbon and a Silver embossed sentiment.

Merry Monday #171 - Season's Greetings

Hello Stampers,
It's time for a new challenge at Merry Monday.  This week our Hostess is Kathy and she is challenging us to Make the Sentiment the Focal point of our Christmas Card.  I used the Faux Mother of Pearl Technique for the background using Shimmer Paint, Gladwrap and then sponged with Pacific Point.  I added some die cut snowflakes and created my sentiment panel and matted it on Glimmer card.

Happy Father's Day

Hello Friends,
It's Father's Day in Australia today and this is the card I gave my dear Husband.  Very CAS design and easy to reproduce.  I inked the embossing folder with Crumb Cake and then ran it through the Big Shot to emboss the card.  I then sponged White Craft ink on the tree branches and added my sentiment and it was done.

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #17 - Decorating the Tree

Good Morning Stampers,
It's Tuesday and time for a new Challenge at OLCCC.  We are challenging you to create a card with Anything Goes with the Optional Twist to Add a Family to your card.  If you use the Twist you are in the running for a prize at the end of the month from Sherry. 
I inlaid the Gold Oval for my card and stamped the image in the centre, keeping my card to One Layer.  I finished off with the Shiny Gold Pearls and the Sentiment embossed in Gold.  Hope you like it!

Merry Monday #170 - Christmas Holly

Happy Monday Everyone,
Time for a new challenge at Merry Monday.  Karen is Hostess and she is challenging us to Use Holly on our cards.  I pulled out some DSP and a Label I found in the same pack, then I stamped the Holly and Berries, cut them out and covered the Berries with Dazzling Diamonds and added the Bakers Twine Bow.  Another quick and simple card and I used up some of my stash of DSP, that must be a good thing.
