Merry Monday #182 - Christmas Birds

Hi Friends,
This week it's Kathy's turn to be Hostess and she is challenging us to Use a Bird on our Christmas cards.  I dry embossed the background with Sizzix's Brick Wall embossing folder and die cut the birds and leaves, cutting the large bird image out three times to get the different pieces. I finished off by adding pearls and the sentiment.

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #22 - Christmas Shopping

Welcome to a new Challenge at One Layer Christmas Cards.  For this challenge Anything Goes with an Optional Twist to Use a Silhouette on your Christmas card.  If you use the Twist you will be in the running for a Prize given by Shery at the end of the month.  For my card I stamped my images and then Water coloured some colour onto my little scene with my Aqua Painter.  Added the Sentiment and I was done!

Merry Monday #180 - Reindeer in Flight

Hi Stampers,
Debbie is our Hostess this week at Merry Monday and she is challenging us to Make a Card with a Reindeer on it.  I embossed the Background with Silver embossing powder and then sponged Distress Inks over it.  I matted this onto Silver Foil and Pacific Point card.  Die cut the Reindeer and mounted it on Dimensionals over some Silver Thread.  Finished off by adding some Crystals, the Sentiment and a Deer, Silver embossed on the inside of my card.

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #21 R - Reindeer

Hello Stampers,
Today's post is a reminder to let you know that you still have time to join us at OLCCC for our Anything Goes Challenge with the Optional Twist to Use a Reindeer on your card.  I used the Faux Illusion's Technique to create my card.  To create this technique, you stamp the image onto the smooth side of your Embossing Folder with Memento Black ( the side with the Sizzix Logo), carefully add your card base to the folder and dry emboss it with your Big Shot.  I then brayered the trees carefully and with light pressure and then sponged the background colours and sponged the tree trunks again to touch them up.  Then you colour your image and I did the Inlaid technique for the sentiment.

Merry Monday #179 - Festive Poinsettia in Pink

Happy Monday Everyone,
It's time for a new Merry Monday Challenge and Deanne is challenging us to Use Pink, White and Green for our Christmas cards this week.  I White Embossed the flower image and Sentiment onto Vellum and then coloured it with my Markers on the reverse.  The White background was dry embossed and I added the ribbon and die cut to finish my card.

It's Tuesday and time for a new Challenge at OLCCC.  For this challenge Anything Goes with the Optional Twist to Use a Stocking on your card.  I created a little scene with Stampin' Up's Festive Fireplace.  I stamped the stockings first and then masked them and added the rest of the scene.  I made sure I left enough room to add the other images before starting to stamp.  Love the finished card.

Merry Monday # 176 - Framed Christmas

Happy Monday Everyone,
This week I am the Hostess at Merry Monday and my challenge is to Add a Frame to Your Christmas Card.  I made a CAS design just framing the Bird in the Image.  I cut the Frame using two dies together which made it really easy, you just need to work out the right size to surround whatever you want to Frame.  I coloured the image with Markers and finished off with the Sentiment and some Sequins.
