Fiona's Birthday 2017

It's our youngest Daughter's Birthday today and this is the card we gave her.  I made this pocket card from one piece of 12" x 12" Designer Paper.  Most of the Family appreciate Cash for their Birthday so I have made a few of these this year as they have a pocket for the money on the inside and another to write the Sentiment.

Merry Monday #242 - Twigs and Branches

Hi Friends,
This week Debbie is challenging us to Add Twigs and Branches to our Christmas cards.  I have used this gorgeous twig and berry image from Penny Black. I coloured the stamp with Distress Markers, spritzed it and this is my second stamping on Watercolour card. I then added some extra colour on the Berries with an Aqua Painter and outlined the twigs with a darker marker to add shadow and extra dimension. I added the sweet bird for some extra interest and Water coloured it with the Distress Markers and my Aqua Painter.  I finished off with the Sentiment and the Clear Sequins.

Merry Monday #241 - Season of Joy

Hello Friends,
It's Monday and time for a new challenge at Merry Monday.  Deanne is challenging us to Use Red, Green and White on our cards this week.  I water coloured the Poinsettia, layered the centre of the flower and added some Gold Pearls to the centre.  I stamped the Season of and die cut the word Joy.  The mat was dry embossed with S/U's Petals A Plenty embossing folder.  Hope you will join us and play along.

Colleen is challenging us to Create a Christmas card with Bells on it this week at Merry Monday.  I made my card with pastel shades stamping and embossing in white over the darker green pine branch.  I finished my CAS design with the unravelled twine and some Clear Sequins.

Kaela's 12 2017

Our eldest Grand Daughter Kaela turned 12 yesterday and this is the card we gave her for her Birthday.  It is one piece of 12" x 12" Designer Paper folded to make this Gift Card Holder.  On the inside there are two matted pieces of card, one for the Greeting and one for the Gift card or Money.

Pat Carr's "Pimp Your Celebrations" Cancer Fundraiser 29th January, 2017 - Project #6 - Seaside

Project #6 is featured today from Pat's Cancer Fundraiser.  The background was created by inking up the Seaside E/Folder with Versamark and then White embossing it, followed by sponging over with Pool Party. The shells were used as a background on the So Saffron card and stamped in Crumb Cake.

Pat Carr's "Pimp Your Celebrations" Cancer Fundraiser 29th January, 2017 - Project #5 - Rainbow Sunburst

Hi Stampers,
Today's post is Project #5 from Pat's Cancer Fundraiser with the Rainbow Sunburst.  To make the Sunburst you sponge in a dabbing motion and not in a circular motion.  Once sponged we stamped the lace in between the rays.  The flowers where stamped and then sponged around the edges and Crystals added to the centres.

Merry Monday #237 - Christmas Shimmer and Sparkle

Hello there,
It's Monday and time for a new Merry Monday Challenge.  Nina is challenging us to Use Shimmer and Sparkle on our Christmas cards this week.  I used the Star from Stampin' Up's Star of Light Stamp Set with Gold Ink, Gold Foil and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter card.  I embossed the Sentiment in Gold and added a Crystal to the centre of the Star.
