Welcome to my blog and today's post for the ESAD - SU Bigshot Blog Hop.
What is ESAD?
ESAD stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up! We all love being Demonstrator's and sharing our passion with others, so if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.
You could have just joined the blog hop here or arrived from the very talented Andrea Buckland's blog. I hope you are enjoying the ride.
I have featured Stampin' Up's Pennant XL Bigz Die and the Bigshot, Celebrations designer paper and a couple of the new Colour Renovation card and inks now available. My theme is " It's A Party" including Invitation, Card, Flags, Party Hat, Straws, Milk Carton and Toothpicks. The supply list is at the end of the post.
The flags use three pennant shapes each and I cut the edge back on the designer paper to feature the scallop edge. I used the Scallop circles on the centre of the embellishment, the 1 3/4" Circle punch and the Timeless Type Junior Numbers Die.
I decorated the straws and toothpicks with some of the scallop edge shapes I cut as I was cutting the pennants.
To make the Invitation I used two Penant die shapes for the sides and embellished with the Scallop circles also on the same Extra Large die.
For the card I embossed the card base with the Polka Dot EB Folder and the Bigshot. Stamped the hats from Party Heart stamp set and reversed them to make the flags. I used two Pennant Die shapes and the Scallop Circle to create some interest on the card.
I made the Milk Carton from scratch because my die has not arrived yet, so it might not be the right dimensions. I stamped the background and the B, cut it out and embellished the carton with the paper clip and ribbon.
