ESAD-SU - Summer Mini Catalogue Blog Hop December 2010

Hello Stampers,
Today I am show casing some of the new items available in the Summer Mini that runs from 1st December 2010 to 31st March, 2011 with the other Demonstrators from ESAD - SU (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators including New Zealand Demonstrators for Stampin' Up!).  If you are an Australian or New Zealand Demonstrator and would like to join this online group go to the website here.  We love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.
You might have arrived from the very talented Steph Gray's blog, or just joined the hop here, there are Thirteen Demonstrators on the Blog Hop so enjoy the ride.
My first projects are themed on Love, Anniversary, Wedding and Valentine.  I have used the Love Defined and Itty Bitty Bits stamp and punch sets for my cards.  Also the new Textured Expressions Plate "Square Lattice" and the Pinking Hearts Border Punch.

Supplies:
Stamps: Love Defined, Itty Bitty Bits, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Card: Real Red, Whisper White, Metallic Silver,
Ink: Real Red
Embellishments: White and Real Red Grossgrain, Crystals, White Striped Organdy Ribbon, Ric Rac
Tools: Big Shot, Square Lattice EB Folder, Vintage Wallpaper EB Folder, Polka Dot EB Folder, Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punches, Heart Nestabilities, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch,  Mat Pack and Piercing Tool, Dimensionals, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Small Heart Punch, Silver Embossing Powder, Heat Tool,
I am also featuring the "Tooth Fairy" stamp in a collection for a little girl.
I used a retired Stampin' Up! Door Hanger, but it would be easy to create your own. The Fairy is made using mostly Stampin' Up! punches. I found the sentiments on the internet and changed the verse on my computer to suit my projects.
Door Hanger Verse:
Dear Tooth Fairy
My tooth fell out,
It's no longer there.
You will find it under
my pillow tonight.
I give it to you
To handle with care.
The container to put the lost tooth into is a recycled Stampin' Up! button container that I have decorated inside and out. I cut the flowers using the Scallop Circle punch. I had to have a few goes to make it work as my punch only cut properly on one side. I then cut around the shape so I could twist the felt into a flower. I stitched these together with a needle and thread. I did try using a die and the Big Shot for the top of the lid and it worked much better.

The Verse reads; In this container you will find a teeny, tiny tooth of mine so while I sleep where dreams are made, let's see if you can make a trade.
The "Tooth Fairy" stamp became a broach. I used the door handle piece that was removed from the door hanger as my base.
Supplies:
Stamps: Tooth Fairy
Card and Papers: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Designer Series Paper Patterns Stack Subtles, Vellum, Metallic Gold
Ink: Pretty In Pink, Stazon Black, Craft White, Blusing Bride, Blush Blossom, So Saffron, Black Marker

ESAD - SU Bigshot Blog Hop - It's A Party

Hi Stamping Friends,
Welcome to my blog and today's post for the ESAD - SU Bigshot Blog Hop.
What is ESAD?
ESAD stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up! We all love being Demonstrator's and sharing our passion with others, so if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.
You could have just joined the blog hop here or arrived from the very talented Andrea Buckland's blog. I hope you are enjoying the ride.
I have featured Stampin' Up's Pennant XL Bigz Die and the Bigshot, Celebrations designer paper and a couple of the new Colour Renovation card and inks now available. My theme is " It's A Party" including Invitation, Card, Flags, Party Hat, Straws, Milk Carton and Toothpicks. The supply list is at the end of the post.
The flags use three pennant shapes each and I cut the edge back on the designer paper to feature the scallop edge. I used the Scallop circles on the centre of the embellishment, the 1 3/4" Circle punch and the Timeless Type Junior Numbers Die.
I decorated the straws and toothpicks with some of the scallop edge shapes I cut as I was cutting the pennants.
To make the Invitation I used two Penant die shapes for the sides and embellished with the Scallop circles also on the same Extra Large die.
For the card I embossed the card base with the Polka Dot EB Folder and the Bigshot. Stamped the hats from Party Heart stamp set and reversed them to make the flags.  I used two Pennant Die shapes and the Scallop Circle to create some interest on the card.
I made the Milk Carton from scratch because my die has not arrived yet, so it might not be the right dimensions. I stamped the background and the B, cut it out and embellished the carton with the paper clip and ribbon.
Supplies:
Stamps: Party Hearty, Trendy Trees, Vintage Labels (R)
Card and Designer Paper: Pacific Point, Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White,Bashful Blue, Celebrations DSP
Ink: Real Red, Pacific Point, Pear Pizzazz
Embellishments: Pear Pizzazz Stitched Poly Ribbon, Paper Clip, Jumbo Eyelet, Linen Thread, Hemp
