ESAD - SU New Catalogue 2010-2011 Blog Hop

Hi and Welcome to my Blog,
What is ESAD?
ESAD stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up! We all love being Demonstrator's and sharing our passion with others, so if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.
You could have just joined the blog hop here or arrived from the very talented Sharlene Meyer's blog. I hope you are enjoying the ride.
For my projects today I have used two items that will be available today from the new Stampin' Up! 2010/2011 Idea Book and Catalogue. All of the items I have made use the Fancy Flower Extra Large Punch in a number of different ways to show how versatile this punch is.  The other new product is the For You Flower stamp which has been designed to be used with the same punch. You can check out the new Stampin' Up! catalogue here.  Let's go on with the hop......
This is a combination of some of the items I made. I went with a theme of black, white and red.
I love this Elegant rose and it is made using the Fancy Flower X-Large Punch.
Supplies:
Stamps: Oval All
Card: Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: Stazon Black
Embellishments: White Grossgrain Ribbon
Tools: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper EB Folder, Little Leaves Sizzlits Die, Tombow Multi Liquid Glue, Double Sided Tape, Dimensionals, Skewer, Large Oval Punch, Bone Scorer, Scissors, Fancy Flower X-Large Punch
I used a template from Splitcoast Stampers Resource Projects Section for the Five In One Template Box.
Supplies:
Stamps: Oval All
Card: Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Stazon Black
Embellishments: Pearl, White Grossgrain Ribbon
Tools: Heat Tool, White EB Powder, Fiskers Trimmer and Scoring Tool, Bone Folder, Tombow Multi Liquid Glue, Scissors, Scallop Oval Punch, Big Shot, Little Leaves Sizzlits Die, Fancy Flower X-Large Punch, Dimensionals
This card has a twisted ribbon flower centre.
Supplies:
Stamps: On Your Birthday
Card: Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red
Ink: Versamark
Embellishments: Ribbon, Crystal Brad
Tools: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper EB Folder, Fancy Flower X-Large Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Two Step Bird X-large Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen
I made the flower shapes into trees for this card.  I cut the trunks by hand.
Supplies:
Stamps: I (Heart) Hearts
Card: Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red
Ink: Real Red
Embellishments: None
Tools: Big Shot, Polka Dot EB Folder, Heart to Heart X-Large Punch, Fancy Flower X-Large Punch, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen
The sweet container is made from clear acetate and the ends are made with the Fancy Flower X-Large Punch.  This is a really cute little box.  The lid stays together with the extra strip of thin card attached around it.
Supplies:
Stamps: Tiny Tags
Card: Basic Black, Clear Acetate, Whisper White, Red Tissue Paper
Ink: Stazon Black, Real Red
Embellishments: Red and White Grossgrain Ribbons, Heart Sweets
Tools: Fancy Flower X-Large Punch, Fiskars Trimmer and Scoring Tool, Double Sided Tape, Jewelry Tag Medium Punch
I think these flowers look like Daisies.  To create them you score from the indented part through to the round part in a straight line and then pinch them on the folds.  I coloured Basic Grey Velvet Brads with a Black Marker to make them match my colour theme.
Supplies:
Stamps: Oval All
Card: Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red
Ink: Stazon Black
Embellishments: Large Velvet Brads
Tools: Big Shot, Polka Dot EB Folder, Fancy Flower X-Large Punch, Two Step Bird X-Large Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen
These two cards are very Ying and Yang using the For You Flower Punch.
Supplies:
Stamps: For You Flower stamp
Card: Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Stazon Black, Real Red
Embellishments: Mini Heart Crystals, Black Grossgrain Ribbon
Tools: Big Shot, Polka Dot EB Folder, Fancy Flower X-Large Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Two Step Bird X-Large Punch, Sponge, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen
I used three Fancy Flower punched shapes to make this flower.
Supplies:
Stamps: Sense of Time
Card: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red
Ink: Stazon Black
Embellishments: Pearls
Tools: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper EB Folder, Fancy Flower X-Large Punch, Boho Blossoms X-Large Punch, Bone Scorer, Tombow Multi Liquid Glue, Mini Glue Dots, Little Leaves Sizzlets Die, Oval Original Dies, Dimensionals
This is the last photo showing the rest of the items altogether.  The white cluster of flowers in the foreground are four Fancy Flower punched shapes folded and then threaded with ribbon and tied together.  The red flower resembles a Carnation and I used 11 Fancy Flower punched shapes and Tissue Paper that you scrunch up and then open them up and put a brad through the centre then scrunch them up again. Makes a very soft and pretty flower.
There is blog Candy on offer to non Demonstrators, but you need to visit every blog and leave a comment and then email Leonie Schroder (go to her blog and advise her that you have been to all the blogs and left a comment through her email connection under the About Leonie heading).
Thank's for visiting my blog, I hope you enjoyed your visit.  So now you need to proceed  to Rhonda Statham here to  check out her lovely creations and continue your way along the hop.
Happy Stamping,
Hugs,
Cat's Ink Siggy
