Pat Carr's Stamp Camp #2

Hi there,
Here are some more of the projects we made at Pat Carr's Stamp Camp in Toodyay at the weekend.
Odette Kermode's Multi Fold Card (Also known as a Napkin Fold Card) Odette also used this fold as the centre of a Scrapbook page.
Lynda Winfield's Smooshing Technique
We used the Smooshing Technique to create the background.  I used Rich Razzleberry, Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant and I love how it turned out.  You start with a piece of Acetate or similar, drag your stamp pads over it and then spray liberally with water until droplets are formed.  Then you drag your paper in a circular motion to soak up the ink.  You can pick up your paper and move it to a different place if needed.  You can air dry or use your heat tool.  Then if there any droplets left on your acetate you can mop them up by placing your paper on top to give your background a more splotchy look and then dry once again. In the drying process if you are using a heat tool dry from the back and then the front of your paper and it should come out fairly flat when you are done.
Pat Carr's Brayering Project
Love this card, lots of brayering and sponging but definitely worth it for the effect achieved. The main image was one piece of card and cut into three for the Centre Step Card.  We used Night of Navy, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum and Bashful Blue for the brayering colours.
I will post the Shoebox Swaps in the next couple of days.
Thanks' for poppin in today.  Take care.
Hugs,
Cat's Ink Siggy
