I can now reveal that I have been asked to be one of the January Guest Designer's for The Friday Mashup Challenges. A big thank you to the Design Team for giving me the opportunity to join them.
So come and join in the fun and have a go at this week's Mashup challenge.
The "Mashup" Challenge:
1. Make a "Birthday" project.
2. Or Make a project using "Pastels".
3. Or "Mash It Up" and create a "Birthday project using Pastels".
I used Ranger Perfect Pearls as my Pastels and coloured the car from Stampin' Up's Need For Speed Stamp Set. I framed the focal point using the Top Note Die and Oval Dies for the frame. I crimped the Crumb Cake with a Crimper and then draged the Early Espresso Stamp Pad over it and sponged the edges. For the Sentiment I mixed Perfect Pearls and Clear Embossing Powder together and heat set it with my Heat Tool. I used Bakers Twine, a Button and Shiny Gold Pearls as my Finishing Touches.
I tried to capture the shine on the car from the Perfect Pearls and this photo shows it best.
Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's Need for Speed, Curly CuteCard and Papers: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Whisper White, DSP Well Worn
