Today's post is for the Pals Paper Arts Colour Challenge and Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week. I watercoloured the main image with Markers and an Aqua Painter. I stamped an extra sail and mounted it on dimensionals for some dimension. Embossed the Whisper White panel, mounted the Night of Navy panel on dimensionals and added the stitched ribbon and tags for my Finishing Touches.
This card was awarded a Top Pick at Pals Paper Arts and I was a Perfect Princess at Freshly Made Sketches this week.

WOW! Susan, you have some "mad" coloring skills. Congrats on being one of the PPA Picks. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteHello Susan: Your card is absolutely beautiful. I can't stop looking at it, everything, from the stamp to the combination of colors, is perfect. The stamp is fabulous so I wonder if you could tell me where you got it? Did it come with those gorgeous clouds? This is a great card for a guy! It's always a bit difficult to make masculine cards and this is one it's a winner.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Maria.
Hi Maria A.
DeleteThe clouds are part of the stamp I used. I think I bought it quite a few years ago at a shop that has now closed, but it has a sister shop called Stamp It which is in Victoria Park in Perth. If you google Stamp It you might be able to find it. It is a San Rosa stamp No. G-1479. If you are in the USA you might be able to purchase it direct from that company if they still exist. Thanks for your query, hope this helps.
Susan, this card is quite amazing. Wonderful coloring!!! Congrats on being selected as a winner.
ReplyDeleteSusan just wanted to say Congrats on your wins!... and well deserved! This card is gorgeousness and the coloring (which looks like a masking technique) and added sail are fabulous. hugs.
ReplyDeleteGreat card and you deserve a win for this gorgeous card. Thanks for sharing.
