Today's post is for the Dynamic Duos Colour Challenge #15. I used "Sweets For The Sweet" stamp set which hadn't been inked before and I wanted to do something different instead of flowers with the gorgeous colours this week. All the elements of my card are basic stamping, embossing or cutting, with the exception of the sentiments which I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement and alignment.
Supplies:Stamps: S/U's Sweets For The Sweet, Papertrey Ink Sentiment
Card: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink
Ink: Certainly Celery, Pretty In Pink
Finishing Touches: Subtles Brads, Scallop Dots Ribbon, Pretty In Pink Button
Tools: Big Shot, Sizzix Polka Dot EB Folder, Itty Bitty Punch, Mat Pack and Piercing Tool, Sizzix Adorning Accents Edgelits, Corner Rounder Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Dble Sided Tape, Dimensionals
Thanks for dropping by today.
Hugs,
Very cute use of your stamps, Sue! I love the dotty ribbon, and scallops, and your impressive use of the Stamp-a-ma-jig!
ReplyDeletePinwheels! A favorite of mine!!! :) Love how you repeated the sentiment too!
ReplyDeleteSue, I loved this from the second I saw it! Squeal!! Those little pinwheels are too cute and I really like how you used the ribbon for their "sticks". The repeated sentiment and all the polka dots just make this one FUN card, in every way! Have a great weekend! :)
