Today I have a few more cards that I made for Stampin' Up's Heartfelt Event in Perth. I stamped the flowers on the first card on Vellum and embossed them with White Embossing Powder. I then punched the flowers again in Whisper White and backed them behind the Vellum and cut them to shape.
Embossing on Vellum
Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's Mixed Bunch, Four Frames, Petite Pairs
Card: Whisper White, Vellum
Inks: Versamark
Finishing Touches: White Organdy Ribbon, Pearls from Pretties Kit (R)
Tools: Big Shot, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, White E/Powder, Pewter E/Powder, Decorative Label Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Sizzix Polka Dot E/Folder, Blossom Punch, Dble Sided Tape, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, 2 Way Glue Pen, Fiskars Trimmer and Scoring Tool
Ribbon Flower Created with the Heat Tool, Basic Embossing
The Ribbon Flower Tutorial by Kelly Acheson can be found here.
I did find that the Organdy Ribbon is very sensetive to heat and you need to hold your heat tool a bit further away so you don't cook it. The Satin Ribbon is less heat sensative and needs a warmer heat to make it curl.
Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's Marry Me, Tiny Tags
Card: Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Versamark, Stazon Black
Finishing Touches: White Organdy Ribbon, Brad
Tools: Big Shot, Sizzix Vintage Wallpaper E/Folder, Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Tag Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Sticky Strip, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, Pewter E/Powder, Fiskars Trimmer and Scoring Tool, Dble Sided Tape, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dot
Thanks for dropping by today.
Hugs,
