Today's post incorporates the Bo Keh Technique which I found on Splitcoast Stampers. Lydia Fielder has a Tutorial on how to do it here. Lydia used Faber Castell Gelatos, I am not sure what they are and so I used a Faber Castell Metallic Silky Pastel which I think is a similar medium. Unfortunately my photos haven't picked up all of the shimmer of the Metallic Pastel but it has created a beautiful lustre effect and is very pretty.
Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's Flower Shop, Papertrey Ink Green Thumb, Beautiful Blooms, Simon Says Happy SentimentsCard: Whisper White
Ink: Lavender Lace, Faber Castell Metallic Silky Pastel, Pear Pizzazz, Stazon Black, Black Sharpie
Finishing Touches: Mauve Crystals
Cool Tools: Aqua Painter, Pencil Rubber, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Dimensionals
Thanks for taking a peek today.
Hugs,
