Celebrating a Golden Anniversary

Hello Friends,
Today I am featuring two cards that I made for two Benedictine Monks that are Celebrating 50 Years of Ordination.  The Brothers live at New Norcia in the Benedictine Monastery.  I have to say I was a little daunted by this task, didn't quite know were to start, but my Friend who asked for the cards knows the Brothers well after working with them at the Monastery and suggested different elements to make the cards.  The first one represents the Australian Bush as this Brother has spent a lot of his years working with the Aborigines in Outback Australia and of course the Gold cross for 50 years of Ordination.

Supplies:
Stamps: Stamp It - 899E Acacia Tree Large, Stamp World - B586 Grassy Hills
Card: Gold Metallic, Very Vanilla, Shiny Gold Foil
Ink: Stazon Black,
Cool Tools: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Computer and Printer
The second Brother has written a couple of children's books and they feature a Black Cat as the hero of the story and also worked a lot of his life in the Country which inspired the rustic wooden Cross.
