Welcome to a new Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge. Linda is challenging us to create a Snow-globe this week. I used the Stampin' Up! Home For Christmas Designer Paper and cut my Santa out. The globe is larger than the one that used in the Sparkly Seasons Stamp Set, but I used the base and sponged the edges with Soft Sky for a bit of definition. Finished off with the sentiment and some embossing paste in the globe for the snow, which I sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds onto before it dried and cut out another Santa for the inside of my card.
Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's Sparkly Seasons, Sassy Salutations
Card: Whisper White, Real Red, Home for Christmas DSP
Ink: Real Red, Soft Sky
Finishing Touches: Dazzling Diamonds
Cool Tools: Big Shot, Spellbinders Classic Circle Die, Misti Positioning Tool, Sponge, Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil, Spatula, Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste, Dble Sided Tape, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen
Great to see you here today. Happy Crafting.
Hugs,

ReplyDeleteJust love your Santa covered in snow, Susan!!
ReplyDeleteTotally gorgeous Susan. I love how you have created the snow globe edge with the sponging, and the effect of the snow looks as if the card is caught "mid-shake'.
ReplyDeleteLovely traditional image, perfect for a snow globe.
