CAS Mix Up Challenge - May 2018 - Gelatos or Crayons - Chrysanthemum Birthday

Hi friends,
Today's post is for the CAS Mix Up Challenge for May. I used a Purple Metallic Gelato and an Always Artichoke Crayon which I mixed with Embossing Paste and layered it over the Chrysanthemum Flower Stencil. The Gelato kept it's vibrant colour and the Crayon didn't mix that well with the embossing paste but I like the textured look it created.  I raised the flower panel on Foam Tape and added the White embossed Sentiment and the Scallop edge.  I love how the flower turned out!
My Mix Up is Stamping, Punched and Hand Cut Border, Mixed Gelato and Crayon with Embossing Paste, Used a Stencil and Heat Embossed.

  1. So glad you found time to join in with this stunning card. Yes when I mixed the Gelato into the paste it gave a wonderful texture to it, which I too loved. Wonderful flower stencil, the prettiest of vibrant colour to the flower head and the delicate scalloped edged punch finishes off your fabulous card beautifully. Stunning CAS card, with wonderful mixed media elements. Thank you for joining in at The CAS Mix Up Challenge with this beauty x
