CAS Mix Up Challenge - Dragonfly

Hi Friends,
Today's post is for the CAS Mix Up Challenge for June.  I layered the Dragonfly 3 times with Thick Whisper White card and then stamped with Versamark and Heat embossed with the two embossing powders five times.  The background is dry embossed with S/U's Manhattan embossing folder.  For the inside I stamped the flower and die cut it stamping the colour and spreading it with an Aqua Painter.  The small dragonfly is one layer of card and embossed in the same way as the one on the front.
Techniques: Layered Embossing Powders, Dry Embossing, Stamping, Die cuts, Watercolouring
Stamps: S/U's At Home With You
Card: Thick and Thin Whisper White,
Ink: Versamark, Bashful Blue, Stazon Black

  1. Such a fabulous effect with the layering of all those layers of embossing powders. It really does make a difference. Love the embossed background and the tiny dragonfly on the inside of your card too x. Thank you for joining in the fun challenge at the CAS Mix Up with your fabulous CAS card x

  2. So pretty Sue! Love both the dragonflies ... they look like pieces of jewelry! And even better on top of that gorgeous dry embossed background. Lots of beautiful texture and dimension and so perfect CAS. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

  3. You have done a wonderful job of getting the two colors of embossing separate, Susan! I ran into problems when I tried that. Love how you've perched this beauty atop embossed flowers! As lovely inside as out, as always! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up!

  4. Beautiful many layered heat embossed die cut dragonfly flying over your dry embossed roses. TFS the pretty inside too, Susan. So pleased you joined us at CAS Mix Up. Hugs..
