Today's post is for the latest CAS Watercolour challenge for June. For my card today I made a Scene looking out a Porthole to the Ocean for something a little different. I Die cut the round Circles using my Spellbinders Classic Circle Dies. I punched a Scallop Circle and sponged the sky to create the clouds. The Sailing Ship and Sea were coloured using Markers and an Aqua Painter. I then used a Black Artline Pen to mimic the stamp at the bottom of the porthole were the image didn't stamp and White Gel Pen to make waves and the White Caps around the boat. The birds are hand drawn and the Sentiment was curled to the shape of the circle. The Pearls on the Porthole were coloured with a Gold Metallic Sharpie.
In the next photo I tried to capture the shine of the Gold Card on the Porthole.
Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's The Open Sea, Any Occasion

Such a creative idea to use the porthole and great how you made it yourself with the die cuts and the pearls and the gold. Great ship stamp and love the colouring and how you freehand drew the birds and curled the sentiment to emulate the porthole. Great card x
