CAS Mix Up - July 2018 - Colour Your Die Cuts - Beautiful Camellia

Hello Friends,
A couple of weeks ago I was awarded a Top Pick at the CAS Mix Up Challenge and I have been invited to be a Guest Designer for them for July.  The Challenge this month is to (Colour Your Die-Cuts) an interesting and challenging technique to do with some fabulous inspiration from some fellow Stampers in the form of Videos.  For my card today I loved Sheri Carrolls take on this Technique and this is the card I came up with.  I did some Watercolour Smooshing for the base of the die cuts and then layered the white outline on the top.  For the Inside I used the same flower and Fussy Cut it to make a smaller flower.  The Sentiment was stamped with Versamark and Heat Embossed with White embossing powder.
Techniques: Layering Die Cuts, Watercolour Smooshing Die Cuts, Stamping,  Heat Embossing, Fussy Cutting
Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's At Home With You
Card: Thick and Thin Whisper White, Night of Navy, Watercolour Card
Ink: Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Versamark
Finishing Touches: Silver Pearls
Cool Tools: Big Shot, Penny Black Camellia Die, Sizzix Stylish Stems Framelit Dies, Sizzix Sun shine Wishes Die, Mini Spritzer and Plastic Sheet, Dble Sided Tape, Foam Tape, Tombow Multi Purpose Glue
