Twofer Card Challenge #9 - September 2018 - Leaves

Hi there,
I made two more cards for the Twofer Card Challenge this month. I was lucky to have two different sized Hibiscus stamps in my individual stamp sets for my first card, which I love the colours of all the different greens and the yellow and red flowers.  The background was sponged through some plastering drywall tape, great stuff, tacky on the back so it gently sticks and stays in place until you finish sponging. The second card is fashioned on a Monstera plant on a Trellis with a Vertical Sentiment.  I stamped the leaves with Versamark and Gold embossed them.

  2. Two beautiful leaf cards Sue! Love the hibiscus with the bright yellow flower ad bright green leaves. The soft stenciling in the background adds a special touch to the design.

Your trellis of bright green and gold large leaves is really striking. The white-on-white of the trellis die-cut over the card base is subtle but adds some texture and dimension. And those leaves just flow down the trellis beautifully. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge! xx

  7. Wow your so good at decorating the inside of your cards, something I never think about. The hibiscus stamp is stunning and so are the colours you used. And the die-cut leaves behind it give it such texture and dimension. Its a gorgeous card and I'm so glad you shared it with us at The Flower Challenge!!
