Today's card is for the CAS Mix Up Challenge this month to Use Embossing Folders + Stamping + Your Choice. I dry embossed the punched out petals for my flower and then sponged the edges and embossing to give it them more definition. I also shaped each petal and leaf before constructing the flower and added the gold gem when it was finished. The white matt is also dry embossed with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder. The leaves were stamped and fussy cut on Old Olive card with Old Olive Ink.

ReplyDeleteWow, what a pretty poinsettia, Susan! I love that you sponged the dry embossed petals. It makes a huge difference. The flower and the leaves look so realistic and interesting! Love the wonderful dimension, clean white-on-white embossed background, and all the details including the tiny tag!
