Hello there,
It's the 1st of October and time for a new challenge at CAS Mix Up. This month Viv would like us to use Stencils with a Tone on Tone theme. Our Guest Designer this month is Pat.
I applied Purple Posy Ink to part of my card front and then attached the Watercolour Stripes Stencil and sponged Highland Heather to create the background. The flowers are stamped with the three colours and the Leaves with two colours. I finished by stamping the Sentiment on a discarded sponged piece with Gorgeous Grape, die cutting and adding the Pearls. The inside was sponged and stamped to match the front of the card.
Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's To A Wild Rose, Ali Express Sentiment
Card: Thick and Thin Whisper White
Ink: Purple Posy, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape
Finishing Touches: Pearls
Cool Tools: Big Shot, Wild Rose Dies, Misti, Altenew Watercolour Stripes Stencil, Make Up Brushes, Dble Sided Tape, Dimensionals
Such wonderful purple tones Susan and love the way the beautiful stencilling in the background fades out and such a pretty added stamped and die cut flower and leaves, and finished with a perfect sentiment strip which fades out a bit too so coordinates perfectly. A brilliant card! It has been great to join the team as the GD this time and the theme of tone on tone has been fun to do. x
