Jen del Muro's SFYTT 23/05/09

Hi there,

Managed to finish another sketch challenge from iheart2stamp from last Saturday. Tried to use some different colours for this sketch that I don't normally use and I like how it came together. Fluffles images are always cute and nice to work with.

Stamps: Stampendous H197 Snail Fluffles, SU Best Yet
Card: Close to Cocoa, Kiwi Kiss, Vanilla, Watercolour Paper, Good Morning Sunshine DP
Ink: Noir Black, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip Markers & Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss Re-Inkers.
Accessories: EK Success Punch, Martha Stewart Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Cuttlebug, Oval & Circle Nestabilities, Sponge, Aqua painter, Mat Pack & Piercing Tool, Brad and Ribbon from Pink Hedgehog, Dimensionals

Hope you like it,
Hugs,

Jen del Muro's SFYTT 21st February, 2009

Stamps: Flourishes Lilac Set #24, Linen, En Francais
Card: Barely Banana, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Brown, Barely Banana, Yoyo Yellow, Old Olive, Garden Green, Certainly Celery Markers
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Swiss Dots EB Folder, Oval Nestabilities, Brads, Computer to generate Sentiment, Sponge, Dimensionals, Mat Pack & Piercing Tool

I love these Magnolia stamp's and wanted to try a different colour. So I used yellow instead of pink, cut out extra flower image's, slightly offset them, raised them with dimensionals on the original image to form a 3D effect for a fuller looking flower. I intended to have a much softer look with just Barely Banana as my main colour, but there wasn't enough variation so I added the Yoyo Yellow and Old Olive. For all those Ladies that don't like using yellow give it a try, it is achievable. I like the finished result, hope you do to.

Jen del Muro SFYTT 7th February,2009

Stamps: Alphabet Soup retired
Card: Chocolate Chip, Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose, Whisper White, Digi Paper-My Favourite Things
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pretty In Pink
Accessories: Heart Punches, Heart Brads, Mat Pack & Piercing Tool, Scallop Edge Punch, Sewing Machine, Dimensionals, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Sponge

I stamped the image and then cut it out with the Cuttlebug and Square Nestie, I then sponged the Pretty in Pink ink before I removed the nestie shape so I had a white border. Sewed around the edge twice on the card with the sewing machine and completed the other elements. I have used a couple of these Digi Papers and I find they are very easy to use and useful as a resource. Thanks for dropping by.
