Pat Carr's Avalon Camp 2019 - Project #11 - Golden Sympathy

Hi Friends,
Today's card uses Post It Notes to mark off a section on the card and the Sun then we sponged 4 colours with a foam brayer.  The tree, birds and Sentiment were then stamped and a light brayer over the Sun.  The tree trunk is supposed to be coloured with a Blender Pen and Black ink but mine was very dry and I could not get the colour to move very well so I didn't complete this step.

Pat Carr's Avalon Camp 2019 - Project #10 - Healing Hugs

Hi Stampers,
Project #10 has some extra folds on the front and then each fold has been decorated. The card was created with two pieces of Calypso Coral card.  The background was sponged using a cloud template.  The flowers in the background where inked and then using a Blender pen we removed the colour on the flower tips and re-coloured using a Calypso Coral Marker.

Pat Carr's Avalon Camp 2019 - Project #9 - White Wash Magnolia

The base of the card is from a Stampin' Up Kit Magnolia Lane Memories and More Cards and Envelopes pre printed and includes the Envelope with the Lining.  The Flower image is Gold embossed on the Kraft card and then water coloured with White Craft Ink as a base colour, followed by the Coloured inks. Very pretty design.

Pat Carr's Avalon Camp 2019 - Project #7 - Two Step Swirly Framed Blossoms

Hi there,
Today's card was challenging, being a perfectionist I attempted to do the main image a number of times, I transferred ink from my fingers, forgot to move masks and over stamped.  In the end I had to be  creative to fix the mistakes on one of my attempts; adding Sequins, cutting out the frame and adding the Sentiment but I managed to pull the card together.  Hope you like it!

Hi there,
Project #5 uses this lovely image of the birds on a branch and the new die cut for the background.

Tip: When you fussy cut an image with fine lines and difficult spaces to remove,  colour the white areas with the background colour and they almost disappear leaving the image to stand out.   I coloured the area around the birds legs above the branch.

Today's card is paper pieced 3cm x 1cm pieces on the background, stamped and the leaf images were die cut and dry embossed.  The tree trunk circle was sponged around the edges and the sentiment stamped and embossed in gold.

Project #3 was created using the back ground stamp and White Heat embossing.  We then colour blocked using Post It Notes and Sponge Daubers inked with various colours. The flowers were stamped in layers and die cut, finishing off with the circles and sentiment..

For Project #2 we Gold embossed the images on Watercolour card and then Water coloured them and the background.  The Happy Birthday is Gold embossed and the rest of the sentiment is stamped with Merry Merlot, then Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

CAS Mix Up Reminder - June 2019 - Ombre - Wildflower

Hello Papercrafters,
Today's post is for the CAS Mix Up Challenge being Hosted by Mac.  Mac is challenging us to use Ombre colours + Stamping + Your Choice.  You have until the 24th June to join us for this challenge.  I embossed the flower and stem with White Embossing Powder and then sponged the background with the four colours to create the Ombre Technique.  I die cut the rectangle and splattered with Water and Watered down White Craft Ink to add some more interest finishing off with the White embossed Sentiment.

Today's post is a reminder for this month's CAS Mix Up Challenge.  Bonnie is challenging us to use Baby Wipes with some Video's on the blog to give you some ideas.
Initally I stamped Balloons for my project from a Baby Wipe inked with Re-Inkers, I didn't like how the colours mixed so I turned them into Gold embossed Butterflies and ended up with this card.  I sponged the background and gold embossed the Sentiment and finished off with some Sequins.
