CAS Mix Up Challenge Reminder - September 2020 - Embossing With Dies - Joy to the World

Hi,
Welcome to September's CAS Mix Up Challenge Reminder Hosted by Joanna.
I embossed the frame on my card panel then stamped the image, colouring it with Markers and an Aqua Painter.  I then masked and sponged the Tim Holtz Ray's stencil on the background.  When it was dry I added some Clear Wink of Stella and stamped the sentiment and image for the inside of the card.

Pat Carr's Zero2Hero Fundraiser August, 2020 - Project 8 - Magnolia Hello

Hi there,

On Sunday the 23rd of August I attended Pat Carr's Fundraiser for Zero2Hero and the money raised will go towards helping children with Mental Health issues go to a camp.  

This card was our last Project for the day.  We stamped the Gardenia with Versamark and Gold embossed it, then we used an Aqua Painter to paint the flower with watered down White Craft Ink.  When it was dry we sponged Petal Pink onto the flower, stamped the Sentiment with Early Espresso and die cut it and added the Ribbon and Gold Metallic Pearls.  The finishedPanel was matted onto Petal Pink and added to the Fancy Fold card base.  The Designer Paper was added to the sides and the Very Vanilla panel was stamped, embossed and coloured and added to the back.

Pat Carr's Zero2Hero Fundraiser August, 2020 - Project 7 - Wishing You Sunshine and Happiness

Hi there,

On Sunday the 23rd of August I attended Pat Carr's Fundraiser for  Zero2Hero and the money raised will go towards helping children with Mental Health issues go to a Camp.  

Project #7 is this cute Bee Hive with Bees, Honeycomb die cut and lovely Designer Paper.  We sponged the background behind the bee hive and then stamped the Sentiment.  The hive and bees where stamped, the bees coloured and die cut along with the honeycomb piece.  The cut outs from the Honeycomb where glued onto the designer paper for some added bling and then the Hive and Bees attached.  We finished off the inside of the card with a strip of DSP and a Bee.

Freshly Made Sketches #452 - Peaceful Boughs

 Hi there,

Today I am playing at Freshly Made Sketches using the latest challenge. I stamped the Boughs with Shaded Spruce onto the Very Vanilla card and then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake.  Cut out the single bough  three times and then stamped the Pine Nut with Soft Suede and Fussy Cut the Pine Nuts.  I stamped and embossed the Greeting cut it out with a die from the Beautiful Bough die set and mounted it on Dimensionals.  Finished off the inside to compliment the front of the card.

Pat Carr's Zero2Hero Fundraiser August, 2020 - Project 6 - Christmas Poinsettia

Hi there,

On Sunday the 23rd of August I attended Pat Carr's Fundraiser for Zero2Hero and the money raised will go towards helping children with Mental Health issues go to a camp.  

Project #6 is a lovely Fancy Fold Christmas card with a Credit card pocket on the inside.  The Base is Grey Granite with the addition of the Woodgrain DSP and the embossed piece is made with Tin Tile E/Folder and then it was sponged with Silver Shimmer ink. The Sprigs are Silver Foil die cuts, mounted on the Whisper White Oval Stitched mat, stamped with the sentiment from Petite Pairs stamp set and finished off with the Pearl and Silver embellishment.

The background matt was stamped off giving the card a graduated look then the scalloped matt was stamped with Crumb Cake and the Sentiment in Gorgeous Grape.  The flowers and leaves were stamped, Fussy cut and mounted on dimensionals.

The Flower Challenge #48 - Brown and Pink - Sweet Peas

 Hello Friends,

Playing at The Flower Challenge today where the Colour Challenge is Brown and Pink. I stamped the Sweet Pea image with Stazon Ink and then water coloured with my Aqua Painter.  The Sentiment was stamped with Baked Brown Sugar on a Pretty in Pink piece of card and then Die Cut.  I finished off with some Pearls and the image on the inside.

Pat Carr's Zero2Hero Fundraiser August, 2020 - Project 3 - Christmas Chocolate Box

  Hi there,

On Sunday the 23rd of August I attended Pat Carr's Fundraiser for Zero2Hero and the money raised will go towards helping children with Mental Health issues go to a Camp.  Project #3 is this sweet little box designed to hold a small gift, chocolates or sweets.  The box and cover measurements are listed below. The designer paper was matted with Garden Green and cut so the design follows from one panel to the next.  The Holly was stamped and coloured with Blends, die cut and stamped the sentiment label and punched out the leaves with the Sprig punch.  Finished off with the Red Rhinestones and putting chocolates inside.

Pat Carr's Zero2Hero Fundraiser August, 2020 - Project 2 - Daisies

Hello there,

On Sunday the 23rd of August I attended Pat Carr's Fundraiser for Zero2Hero and the money raised will go towards helping children with Mental Problems to go on a Camp.  

We stamped the Fern Leaf and then stamped again without inking the image.  The Daisies when inked with Daffodil Delight and then using a Sponge Dauber we inked the center of the flowers before stamping.  Then we punched the Daises out added the strips of card to the white mat and stamped the sentiment. I finished off adding some Champagne jewels to the front and stamping and adding the strips and Daisy to the inside,

Pat Carr's Zero2Hero Fundraiser August, 2020 - Project 1 - Birthday Candles

 Hi there,

On Sunday the 23rd of August I enjoyed attending Pat Carr's Fundraiser for the Zero2Hero Organization and the money raised will go towards helping children with Mental Health issues go to a Camp.  The total raised was just over $4,000. Congratulations Pat on such a successful day.  We made 8 projects on the day and I will post them over the next 8 days or so.

To make the candles we punched out the different colours with the Classic Label Punch trimming one end straight across and using a 1/4" Circle punch on the other end.  These pieces were then embossed with the Tasteful Textures E/Folder.  For the flame we used the Leaf Punch trimming the leaves off and sponging on the colour.  All of the candle pieces are mounted on dimensionals.  We used the Border die to shape the front of the card and attached the designer Paper on the inside of the card.

Happy Father's Day 2020

 Hello Friends,

It's Father's Day today in Australia and this is the card I gave my Husband, he does all the cooking and enjoys it. I embossed the Designer Paper with the Stone E/Folder cut out the die cuts assembled them  and stamped the front of the Apron.  I finished off the inside with a Sentiment and some more die cuts.

CAS Mix Up Challenge - September 2020 - Embossing with Dies - Regal Flowers

Hello there,

Joanna is hosting our CAS Mix Up Challenge this month and wants us to do some  Embossing With Dies.  There is plenty of inspiration from Videos, the Design Team and our Special Guest is Mac Mabel.  I used a die from S/U's Eclectic Layers for the background of my card and then cut the flower die cuts and layered them five times.  I used Whisper White for the first four layers and then Regal Rose and Old Olive.  I stamped and die cut the Sentiment and mounted with Dimensionals and finished off with the Sequins and part of a stamp for the inside, which was water coloured.

 Hello Friends,

Today I am playing at Freshly Made Sketches.  I stamped the birds colouring them with Markers and then die cut them. The Mat is embossed with the Woodlands E/Folder and sponged with Creamy Caramel ink.  I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the leaves and sentiment.  I finished off with a bird on the inside.
