In April 2015 I attended Pat Carr's Camp Avalon in Toodyay.  The theme for the camp was Techniques, so we came away with a File full of ideas explaining the technique, with a sample swatch and a card using it. It was a lot of fun and I learned a few new techniques too.

Merry Monday #202 - Let it Snow

Hello there,
Welcome to a new Monday and a new challenge at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge.  This week Kathy wants us to Create a Snowy Christmas card.  My card is randomly stamped with the snowflake to make the background with Lost Lagoon ink and I used my markers to colour the bird in the centre.  I used punches for the focal point to add some dimension.  I finished off with some pearls and a sentiment.  Hope you will join us this week and don't forget to check out the other Design Team Members for some more inspiration.

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #30 - Merry and Bright

Welcome to the last One Layer Christmas Card Challenge.  Shery has decided to close the challenge but the linky will be open until November 30 2016 so you can post your one layer cards all year.
For my card I stamped the images and then made a mask with masking medium and added glue to adhere the glitter to make it sparkle and shine.  Hope you like it and it gives you some inspiration to join us for the last challenge.

Merry Monday #201 - Embossed Christmas Ornaments

Hi there,
Welcome to a new challenge at Merry Monday, this week Debbie is challenging us to Use Purple, White and Silver on our Christmas cards.  I white embossed the ornaments on Rich Razzleberry card and used a punch to cut them out and decorated them with 1/8" Silver Ribbon.  I stamped the sentiment with Rich Razzleberry ink and finished off with some pearls.

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #29 R - Santa's Dance

Merry Monday's 200th Celebration

This week we would like everyone to help us celebrate Merry Monday's 200th Challenge. All of the Design Team have asked a fellow Card Maker who inspires them to add an Inspiration card.  My lovely Designer is Kim Singdahlsen and you will find her awesome blog "Joyful Creations With Kim " here, Thanks Kim for joining us for the celebration.

Kim's Card

For my card I have used the Sketch and Colour challenges from the Challenge board.  I used Crumb Cake Blendabilities and a Water Based Marker to get the different shades of Kraft on my card.  I water coloured the Cat with with my Crumb Cake Marker and Aqua Painter and the two dogs were coloured with the Light Crumb Cake Blendabilities. I played around with the Cat's scarf  using two shades of green and stamped a second image layering it on foam tape for more dimension.  I finished off with the embossed heart, Dazzling Diamonds and a Pom Pom on the Santa Hat.
