Pat Carr's Stamp Camp Toodyay October 2017 - Project #14 - Letter S

Hello Friends,
For today's Project we all decorated a Wood Letter for the start of our Christian Names, mine being the Letter "S" for Susan.  This Project was a favourite of everyone and brought to us by Pat and Carolyn King.  Carolyn's blog is "Kings on Paddington" if you would like to check it out, she always has very descriptive comments on all the items she makes.

We painted the back and sides of the letter with Poster Paint and when it was dry we glued the Designer Paper to the front and trimmed it off.  The Fir Sprig and the tied bow were attached with Hot Glue and the Bauble and Silver Embossed Tag where tied with Black Ribbon.

Merry Monday #277 - Starry Starry Night

Hello Friends,
This week at Merry Monday Deanne is Hostess and challenging us to Use a Stencil on our Christmas cards.  I used the Stencil to add the Stars to my background with Metallic Silver Embossing Paste and then created the Village Scene with the Die cuts to add a bit of colour.  It's a clear night sky with snow on the ground but still enough light to see the colour of the Trees and Buildings and of course Santa flying high delivering presents!!

I made this magical card for our youngest Grand Daughter Jenna, who is Eight today. Jenna is having a Unicorn themed Party with a few friends.  It was a lot of fun to design and create.  I made the Rainbow by using the Layering Circle Dies from Stampin' Up!, not the new dies in the Occasions Catalogue (Rainbow Builder Framelit Dies), but you could use them if you have them.  The Castle is from a 1996 stamp set Dreams and Dragons and the Unicorn is from Pool Party which retired a few years ago too.
