CAS Mix Up Challenge - November 2020 - Off the Edge - Sunflower

Hello Friends,

Today's post is an extra card I made for the CAS Mix Up Challenge for November which is to design Off the Edge and Water colouring must be the main element of your design. 

I started by smooshing the Water colour paper with Daffodil Delight and Cinnamon Cider inks.  I stamped the Sunflower with Versamark and used Zing Mustard E/Powder for my Sunflower image and then water coloured using Markers.  The Leaves where stamped and embossed with Zing Leaf E/Powder and then water coloured.  The bee was stamped with Stazon Black, coloured and finished with a Wink of Stella Clear Brush.  The Sentiment piece was smooshed with ink and then stamped and I added some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.  I stamped another Sunflower on the inside and water coloured.

CAS Mix Up Challenge - November 2020 - Off the Edge - Beautiful Blossom

Hello,

It time for November's CAS Mix Up Challenge and this month Bonnie is our Hostess and is challenging us to stamp Off The Edge with Water Colouring.  Our Guest Designer for November is Michele Ferguson  I stamped off the Edge and then Water coloured the image with my Aqua Painter and Re-Inkers letting my colouring dry in-between to achieve a more layered effect.  I Gold embossed the Sentiment adding Sequins and finished off the inside of my card using the same processes.

Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge - #16 - Slimline Holiday Card

 Hi friends,

Today's card is for the Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge #16 to make a Slimline Holiday Card.  I used Stampin' Up's Coming Home and White Christmas card sets with matching dies.  I water coloured the images and applied Wink of Stella to the roof of the middle house and Gelly Roll pen to the Hubcaps on the Car, Headlights and Bumper.  The little Wreath was Fussy Cut around the outside edges and water coloured and when it was dry I used a Black Fine Tip Pen to draw lines to match the ones on the Gable Roof in it's center so it appears to have been cut in the center too.  For the background I sponged Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, stamped the Lamp Post and the Trees.  The inside was finished with some more trees, a Car and the Sentiment.

Curt's Birthday 2020 - Nintendo Switch

Hello friends,

Today's card is for our Grandson Curtis who is turning 10 today.  One of the presents Curtis is receiving is a Nintendo Switch and he is hoping for a Super Mario 3D All Stars Game.  I made a Slimline card using this theme for his card with a number of retired Punches to create the gaming panels and printed off the picture for the screen and the Super Mario inside the card,  colouring and fussy cutting this image.

AAA Birthday Cards #17 - Animals and Critters - Let's Play

 Hi Friends,

Playing along at AAA Birthday Cards today and the theme is Animals and Critters.  I used the Pampered Pets Stamp Set and Dies from S/U.  I stamped the dogs with Basic Grey and then water coloured them with Basic Grey and Smokey Slate, adding Real Red for the dogs Collars and a touch of pink on one of the Ears.  I then die cut them, embossed the white mat and popped the dogs up on dimensionals. The Happy die cut was cut 3 times and mounted together and the Birthday is stamped on Smokey Slate with Foam Tape added for some dimension.  I finished off with the Metallic Heart Enamel Shape on the collar of one of the dogs and the 2 bowls were stamped and coloured on the inside.

CAS Mix Up Challenge - October 2020 - Wild Rose

 Hello there,

It's the 1st of October and time for a new challenge at CAS Mix Up.  This month Viv would like us to use Stencils with a Tone on Tone theme.  Our Guest Designer this month is Pat.

I applied Purple Posy Ink to part of my card front and then attached the Watercolour Stripes Stencil and sponged Highland Heather to create the background.  The flowers are stamped with the three colours and the Leaves with two colours.  I finished by stamping the Sentiment on a discarded sponged piece with Gorgeous Grape, die cutting and adding the Pearls.  The inside was sponged and stamped to match the front of the card.
