The Play Date Cafe Challenge #66 - Lilac Rose

Hi there,
Today's post is for this weeks Colour Splash challenge at the Play Date Cafe.  I love the Inspirational picture, especially the colour.  I have this beautiful rose image from Penny Black and some gorgeous lilac silk ribbon so I tried to keep my design Clean and Simple.  I used markers and a stamp pad to colour the rose before stamping on the white card.

  6. Hi Tania and Donna,
I used a very simple technique to colour the rose. You just colour the rubber stamp with your markers. If I need to use a stamp pad I try to ink up just the section I want and if you go outside the area you can then colour with you markers and it will remove the stamp pad ink, just rub you marker on a piece of scrap paper if the colours have blended a bit and re-apply. Then you need to huff and puff on your stamp with your breath to make the ink moist if it has dried a bit and then stamp. Hope my instructions are clear. Thank's so much for your comments. Hugs, Sue.
