The Play Date Cafe #113 - For The Newlyweds

Hi Stampers,
Today's post is for The Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge this week. I made a flower using the Flower Folds Die and the Itty Bitty Flower Punch for a different flower centre. I punched out the Scallop Dotted Ribbon in Very Vanilla and then cut it in half to make the border on the vertical piece of Designer Paper.  I used the new Velvet Ribbon and some Pearls as the Finishing Touches. I think the colours are stunning and I really love how this card came together, so soft and pretty.

This cards was featured on Paper Punch Addiction on 21/1/2012.

The Play Date Cafe #103 - Dreams

Hi there,
Today's post is for The Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge this week.  Another Clean and Simple card, I seem to be way behind this week with my challenges and only just making deadlines. LOL.  For the main image I white embossed the Jet plane and sponged with Marina Mist to make it stand out.  I stamped the sentiment twice, once in Basic Grey and then with Cajun Craze and just cut out the Direction arrow and mounted it on Dimensionals. Punched out the photo corners in two different colours and added the shiny silver pearls.

This card was awarded the Cream in Our Coffee Award at The Play Date Cafe this week.

Supplies:
Stamps:  S/U's Need for Speed, Word Play
Card:  Basic Grey, Marina Mist, Whisper White
Ink:  Basic Grey, Cajun Craze, Versamark, Marina Mist

The Play Date Cafe #101 - For You

Hi there,,
Today's post is for The Play Date Cafe Challenge this week.  This was an interesting colour challenge and first thoughts where to make a male card, especially after taking into consideration the featured picture but I decided to try for a more feminine card.  For the flowers I used Riding Hood Red and Basic Grey ink.  The Basic Grey really makes the red pop. I sponged and distressed the edges of the main image with the Cutter Tool and stamped off the background elements a couple of times and then used my Colour Spritzer Tool to add the splatter of colour.  I like how it came together.

This card was awarded the Cream in Our Coffee Award at the Play Date Cafe this week.
Supplies:
Stamps:  S/U's Field Flowers, French Foliage, Tiny Tags
Card:  Basic Grey, Riding Hood Red, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla
Ink: Basic Grey, Riding Hood Red, Cajun Craze

Tools:  Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper EB Folder, Cutter Tool, Sponges, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Jewelry Tag Punch, Colour Spritzer Tool, Dimensionals, Dble Sided Tape
