Today's post is for the Just Add Ink Tearing/Distressing Challenge this week. I used the Emerging Colour Technique for the background. I then did my tearing and distressing, tried to stamp the Guitar Playing Silhouette on the background but it didn't stand out enough, so I stamped on acetate and overlayed it on the card.
Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's Gratuitous Graffiti BG (R), Extreme Elements, Extreme Guitar, Just Jawing (R)Card: Basic Black, Whisper White, Acetate
Ink: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Grey, Stazon Black, Versamark
Tools: Brayer, Heat Tool, Clear Embossing Powder, Cutter Tool, Scissors, Mini Glue Dots, Dble Sided Tape, Stamp-a-ma-jig
Thanks' for dropping by today.
Hugs,
Great card Susan. Love your tearing and great idea using the acetate as an overlay. I bet it looks fantastic in real life. So glad you could play with us at JAI this week.
ReplyDeleteYour emerging colour is fantastic Susan and I love how you solved your image problem too - very clever. A great "grunge" card!! Thanks for playing at JAI ♥
