Inkspiration Inspiration Challenge # 21 - Bowl of Roses

Hello everyone,
Today's post is for Makeesha's Inspiration Challenge #21.  I saw this idea on a blog hop at Judy May's blog  and loved it so much that I have cased her card and changed the embossing folder, stamp sets, colours, sentiment and added more roses.  Instead of the usual flower pot a bowl shape has been used for the base. The roses are attached to a panel that slides into the bowl and I have added a stand at the back so the card will stand up.

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin' Up's Cottage Rose 1999 (R), Wild Rose 2006 (R), Tiny Tags
Card: Whisper White
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose, Rose Red, Certainly Celery, Old Olive
Embellishments: Ribbon
Tools: Big Shot, Classic Circle Nestabilitie, Provo Craft D'vine Swirl EB Folder, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Sponge, Dimensionals, Medium Jewelry Tag Punch, Linen Thread, Martha Stewart Screw Hole Punch
Thanks for stopping by today,
Hugs,

Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge #17

Hi there,
Today's post is for Makeesha's Inspiration Challenge #17.  The Inspiration photo is open to being very creative in your interpretation, so after thinking about it for a while this is my design.
I decided to layer my design with a window and hopefully the people look like they are inside the cafe. As I had these images I think they fit the challenge nicely. I hand embossed the front with a Fiskars Brick Embossing Folder (a bit hard to see in photo), stamped the Verandah twice and cut around the tree and leaves.  Let me know what you think!!
Supplies:
Stamps: My Favourite Things - Meet Me at the Cafe, SU's Trees Three
Card and Paper: Kraft, Whisper White, Bella Blue DP
Ink: Stazon Black, More Mustard, Creamy Caramel, Certainly Celery, Close to Cocoa, Bravo Burgandy, Old Olive, Sahara Sand Markers
Embellishments: SU'sTaupe Ribbon
Tools: Fiskars Brick Embossing Template, Fiskars Cutting Tool, Mat Board and Cutting Knife, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Dimensionals, Aqua Painter

InkspirationChallenge #13 - Country Stud

I had some fun with Makeesha's Inspiration challenge this week.  I just had to use the Rustic Rooster stamp set again.  I was going for an elegant country theme, I like how it came together.  So to create my country theme I used my sewing machine and stitched around the edge and then used some Hemp twine as an embellishment.  Stitched a creme flower button to the wide ribbon and cut the end with my pinking shears.  I also used my new Blossom Nestabilities as a mat for the main image.  Hope you like it.
