Just Add Ink #83 and Pals Paper Arts #109 - Ice Skating

Today's post is for the Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge and the Pals Paper Arts Colour Challenge this week.  The embossed and punched Snow flakes on the Basic Grey card were sponged with Craft Whisper White and then Smooched with Silver Foil, unfortunately the Smooch doesn't show in my photo.  I added Dazzling Diamonds to the main image for some bling.  The Skaters were watercoloured.

Stamperoo's Stamp Camp August 2011 - Workshop Wow's

Last weekend was the Annual Stamperoo's Stamp Camp organised by Ngaire Anderson, our Stampin' Up! Upline and held at Swanleigh in the Swan Valley in Perth. 20 Ladies attended on Friday night and 22 Ladies attended on Saturday.  Today I am featuring the Workshop WOWS! I showcased the 6 Sided Milk Carton Box with an inverted lid.  These are the Demo boxes I made.

Just Add Ink #82 - Just Add...Something from Your Stash and Pals Paper Arts #108 - Elements of Style - Soften the Edges

Hello Friends,
Today's post is for the Just Add Ink Challenge and Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week.  I have used one of the new In Colours, Wisteria Wonder with Whisper White and Concord Crush for my colour theme.  Organic Outlines is a retired stamp set that I used for the "Something from my Stash" which is a set I really love.  The Zigzag Metallic Ribbon and the Shiny Silver Pearls are also from my stash. To Soften the Edges I used my Corner Rounder, Cutter Tool and Sponged the edges of my cardstock.

The Paper Players #60 - Soak Up the Sun

Hi there,
Today's post is for The Paper Players Sketch Challenge this week.  I was going to use the card for the Create with Connie and Mary colour challenge and realised when I had finished that I had used stamps that weren't Stampin Up. No matter the colours worked well and I am happy with the finished project.  I sponged the base mat with the three colours Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point and So Saffron.  I coloured the images with my markers and an aqua painter.  I made the Ladies hat with the small oval punch and the Itty Bitty Flower Punch.

This card was awarded the 'Cut Above' Award at The Paper Players this week.

The Play Date Cafe Challenge #95 - Fine China

Today's post is for the Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge this week.  I used the Finial Press Embossing Folder for the White Base and a Cherry Lyn Doily Die for the Doily.  Stamped the China Cup in Night of Navy and freehand cut the sentiment.  I don't usually use pre-made flowers as I like to make my own, but today I have and I think it's fits the design.

Pals Paper Arts #107 - Ebony Tulle

Hi Stampers,
Today's card is for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge this week. I have been waiting to use this Black Tulle since I found it in my sewing stash a while ago.  I used the Flower from Birds and Blooms Large Flower Sizzix Die to cut the Flower shapes and the Tulle. The Black Daisy shaped layer was made using one of the shapes from the Boho Blossoms Punch which is retired.  I have just found these Sparklets by Kaisercraft that I used for the flower centres, they come in some very pretty colours and they suited my project for today.

This card was awarded a Top Pick at Pals Paper Arts this week.

The Play Date Cafe Challenge #94 - Vintage Teal

Hi there,

Today's post is for The Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge this week.  The very strong colours of Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso and Taken With Teal where a bit of a challenge. After deciding to do a Vintage card, I stamped and distressed and sponged the different panels. The Rayon Ribbon was dyed with Taken With Teal re-inker and water, I think it lifts the card.

Colour Throwdown #154 - Autumn Leaves
